shane's seems like a really cool person, but boxing-wise, i think vernon took a lot out of him. i think he should've done the "oscar strategy" and fight other fighters, then fight vernon again, when vernon was on the low point ... like maybe after mayorga.

i think he should've taken some confidence building fights first.

gotta hand it to him, though; everytime he gets thrown off, he gets right back in the saddle. :)

what's the latest news with rjj and tarver. who are they fighting next (if not each other)? i'll root for tarver against anyone, except rjj and bernard. i would've rooted for toney against tarver, but toney needs some humble pie as well.

barring retirement, and psychological factors or stress, i think rjj should fight really soon. he was in as good condition as he could get for his tarver fight, and was not seriously injured either, despite getting knocked out. he should just think of the tarver fight as a warm-up, or a really bad sparring session.

are oscar and bernard starting to train for their fight, or is it too soon? any confirmation/retraction from oscar about this fight?
