I don't think that's accurate.....the times he landed flush and rocked Vitali were precisely when he threw a short, straight left.

The looping lefts he was using were a result of fatigue....and trying to vary up the attack (he did use them more often than normal though).

And regarding Sanders' chin....

I don't think it's the best in the division. I don't know that you can say that from this one fight.

But he does get credit for being able to take Vitali's shots - especially when he really began sitting down on them.

His chin is certainly solid....the Tubbs KO loss has probably contributed to a gross misperception of his ability to take a shot.

He've got an good chin but not a great one and far from the best of the division. Rahman floored him twice (but the fist one was a bomb). Hell, Brewster took a bigger beating than Corrie did tonight.
