Its seems that, with an ever increasing white population, corruption and general uselessness increased so much so that nobody bothered to do a census for 50 years, during which period, not much changed.

Damn Reed, did you even REED what I said???:dunno::dunno:

Yes or No: Prior to the Tyson fight, Douglas was regarded as a quit-case with less than stellar heart and staying powers?

    Simple answer is YES.

I never said that Buster didn't pick it up for the night in question. I never said he had no balls or heart.

I merely said that the same stigma that is currently attached to WLAD was attached to BUSTER at the time of the Tyson fight.

    Proof?
    * His father thought he was a dog, and wouldn't speak to him.
    * The bookies had him at 42-1 under. I guess thats cos they knew he nathan to lose.:bangh:

What James WAS and what he was PERCEIVED AS were obviously two totally different things. My argument is that the same mistake made with Douglas could easily be made with Wladimir.

Wladimir ALWAYS has gotten up from being floored. ALWAYS. Not even Sanders, who hit him cleanly for fun, was able to nail him to the mat.

Bowe would bully him? Maybe he'd try it in a press conference. I doubt it, and it's hard to see it in the ring.

What exactly would he bully him with? His jab? It was weaker than Wladimir's. His right hand? Not as straight or accurate as Wladimir's.

His uppercut? He'd have to get in range to throw it...and it's a lot harder to do that against a bigger heavyweight that actually throws his left hand...and Klitschko's jab/hook combination is a pretty rare weapon in the sport for a fighter that size.

Wladimir's chin and stamina are rightly criticized as weaknesses, but if we're talking mid-90's Bowe, then those also weaknesses that can be brought up with him.

Despite his size, Bowe was never one of the stronger big heavyweights, and his fitness and conditioning fell off sharply from just a few years prior when he won the title. He was coming in heavier, his chin was weaker, and his reflexes appeared diminished...as evidenced by his getting dropped and almost stopped in '95 by Holyfield, and in '96 by Golota.
