Oh, there have been plenty of people who are still plain shocked, but many are just casual movie fans with zero comic book knowledge. To them all these characters died and they are mourning and very upset. I was having a blast these past days watching people CRYING on youtube! LOL

  2. link please!!

I want to join in with you on your merriment and mirth.

You are just a 'higher-than-thou' Cunt Maximus.

Apparently you haven't watched 'The Winter Soldier" or "Civil war" both films deviated from the formula you mentioned. And 'Infinity War' is as much or MORE art than that overrated acting gig you mentioned.

Most intelligent post of this thread! (besides mine, of course!)

Don't forget 'Two time Academy Award Nominee, Robert Downey Jr".

So to be 'art' it needs to have 'tour de force' acting performances? Where then the most artsy films like '2001: A Space Odyssey' or "El Topo" falls? money grabs???

  8. Word. All three are very good films. They're not just mindless action and CGI....deep subplots and good acting etc.

  9. Don't even try to bother defending the MCU from Cdogg.

To he that believes, no explanation is necessary. To he that doesn't, no explanation will suffice.

Yup! That is one of the best ones AND these two are HUGE comicbook fans which makes their crying more pathetic. LOL

This whole family crying was touching (I wish my family were into these films like them).

In that case I recommend a glass of Chianti mixed 50% with arsenic.

  19. Which is exactly the point we´ve accurately made: they´re simple movies for simpleton fucktards with almost zero knowledge of what makes a ´good movie´.

Avengers Infinity War is NOT a good movie.
Hardly any MCU efforts are good movies.

I watch it yesterday.........didn't care for it just like Civil War....

I prefer the X Men movies n I thought Apocalypse was also SHIT...

  22. In addition to my earlier post about today´s movies and global homogeneity, you also have to factor in: Distribution
Let´s say the average buy-in for a movie today is US$30m.
Now add another $30m for overseas.
The exhibitors pay 50% of the gross so to make back the $60m, you need to make $120m.
Without even knowing what kind of movie you´re going to make, you´re looking at $120m outlay.
The problem and obstacle isn´t what subject matter to make a movie about, it´s about ¨how do we reduce the cost of putting a movie out?¨

That´s also why Marvel have nailed the market into what makes a successful movie: the rat / brain-stimulation theory.
You give a rat a button or lever to push for sexual-pleasure or for food/water.....they all fucking pressed the former thousands and thousands of times.
Pressing that lever or button becomes their entire world...even to the point of them starving to death.

This is a perfect analogy of Slystaff when given the option to watch something like Five Easy Pieces, The Parallax View, Network, etc.....or... Avengers Infinity War .

  23. Give it a rest

  24. Crushed.
    You.
    Again.

Please tell me....you didn´t shed a few tears and hug anyone while all the Avengers were dying and turning to dust.

    In the actual cinema?????

  26. You can't crush me even in your dreams old man.

Stop being silly. There's nothing sad about half the characters turning to dust when you expected it. It wouldn't be sad even if you're expecting it.

I did cry however when Ant man went sub-atomic in his film. I was inconsolable in fact: "How could ant man go sub atomic? He may never come back!!! Boo hoo boo hoo!!"

I still haven't recovered from that traumatic event, brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it....
