Well thanks for the heads up. Everybody hates the Yankees but at the end of the day they are a great franchise. Canelo is as mainstream as macdonalds and the Yankees so i get there's going to be that group that resents his popularity I get that. But as a boxing fan you cant let that influence you. I try to be objective and call it like I see it even if I'm not a fan of the boxer. When they start off their post with Clenelo or Caneloroid Alvarez you just know its a bias post and cant be taken seriously.

Canelo and De La Homo are quite literally the only two Mexicans I dislike. There goes that theory. Duran is literally 50% Mexican and my third favorite fighter of all time. Sal Sanchez is one of my favorite fighters of all time. Zarate is one of my favorite fighters of all time. Corrales, 50% Mexican, one of my favorite fighters of all time. These aren't secrets. There are towns in Mexico where they have people of European descent. Like Spaniard and French. My great grandfather was from spain but lived in Mexico all his life. So yes there are European Mexicans so tecnically Mexican is not a race but to a black man or a white man we might all be the same. I hear it all the time people referring to a Latino as the "mexican" when they could be from El Salvador or Argentina. People are ignorant what are you gonna do.

 

Why do you hate Canelo? I don't get the hate for a guy that despite his flaws as a fighter he's active fighting 2 to 4 fights a year. Do you prefer guys like Andrade that only fight once every 24 or 36 months? Sure he has short arms and doesn't have a good jab or good foot work but has fast hands. His cardio might be shit but that's only because he doesn't do much road work. But it's a problem he easily solves by having a low punch output(conserving his energy).

 

People tend to like fighters who aren't spoon fed everything from the get go.
