My baseball career was a disappointment... If I had it to do over again, I'd have spent less time bullshitting, trying to stand like Dave Winfield while hitting more like Dave Duncan and more time standing comfortable and working ... My brother was like a mini George Brett, he was awesome and while a lot more talented than me, he worked hard at it

I sucked hard at fitbaw because I didn't understand it, had no example to follow... I think if I had seen it in TV as a kid, gotten familiar with it, I would have enjoyed it more

Don't get me wrong, I liked fitbaw and I was a nice little player. My dad was a baseball player and I'm pretty passionate about baseball these days. Wish I played more.

I would have been good at boxing but like everything else the old man vetoed it and besides there were no gyms or facilities.

Outside of throwing ancient everlast gloves and getting shitkicked by my much older brother, boxing was not something my parents would've allowed me to do... I probably would have just bled constantly anyway

As for the Thread, NO, Cotto Shouldn't HAVE to Fight GGG...He'll Get STRIPPED of his Title in Due Time, then GGG Can Act Accordingly...The Title is a TROPHY & BARGAINING CHIP for Cotto, Not Something he Actively Covets or Looks to Defend Against All Comers...He's NOT a Middleweight & Ya'll KNOW It...

GGG Fans just Want him to Get the NAME "Cotto" on his Resume, it's NOT Even about the Title...GGG's Been Universally Regarded THE Best Middleweight in the World for the Last 2 Years...

Have we now reached a stage where a fight between the two top ranked fighters in the division is "not compelling"...........

It's as compelling as Floyd vs Baldomir. You already knew who would win.

I like Cotto. I don't need to see him catch another beating.

I was decent at baseball growing up. The thing was, I could hit, but I was slow as hell. And I could field, but never had a strong arm. Played in softball leagues for years after high school. Miss those days.

My favorite sport to play was always football. I was the type of running back, if you needed a yard, I'd get you 3. And if you needed 5 yards, I'd get you 3. I could tackle like a motherfucker though.

We did a lot of boxing and wrestling as kids. Like normal kids would get together to play baseball or football, we would box and wrestle.

Played a little street hockey as a kid, but never could find enough interested kids to get a decent game. Nobody really played basketball where I grew up, and the only people who played soccer were the foreign kids and the special ed kids.

It's sad that I rarely see kids out playing sports anymore. I guess they're all at home with the video games and phones.

I played football/soccer growing up. I was a winger with pace to burn but not much in the way of football intelligence. A lot of headless chicken running, I was always good at crossing and set pieces though. When I got older I was able to read the game a lot better, but I'd lost all my pace. Now when I play, which is rarely, I tend to play in the middle and pull the strings.

I played a bit of cricket too. My cousin was really good, he played for the Surrey youth teams and we'd play whenever I visited. He was way better than me but I became decent. I was a good fielder, made a lot of catches, and had a good arm so could set up a few surprise run outs. I was a lower order batsman and could frustrate bowlers trying to close out the innings, but I wasn't somebody who was able to get you a lot of runs. I wasn't that great at bowling, preferred fast bowling but I wasn't consistent enough in my delivery to be that useful.
