but joyce isn't a slugger. he operates behind a active and accurate jab, which is also powerful (see dubois fight). so joyce doesn't require cooperation from his opponent the way you're suggesting. Not saying he beats either Usyk or Fury, but 12-0 is absurd imo.

 

He isn't a slugger but gets hit a lot (hence all the deserved credit he gets for his chin), he has a good solid jab but his style is pretty rudimentary, let's be honest. It works though, I'm not really knocking it. You know what he's going to do yet he's really hard to beat all the same. I don't think 12-0 Usyk is all that far fetched considering it was 5-0 in the WSB and Usyk has stamina for days.

 

The one thing that would change in a 12-round pro contest with Slow Joe is that Usyk's punching power isn't going to get the sloth's respect for the full 36 minutes, unlike Joshua, and so I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a come from behind, glacial, slow motion KO

 

It's possible... But I'd fancy Usyk W12 so far.

Joe Joyce is ridiculously slow, but he's a huge dude with a lot of heart and a solid workrate, a very uncommon combination. No he's not close to being the second coming of Lewis but I think he's still a very solid contender considering the current state of the division and would love to see him vs Whyte
