Is The Argument Against 15 Round Fights Still Valid?

Pretty much. This era of boxing is pretty tepid compared to the 70's, 80's and 90's in that so many fighters tend to fight "not to lose" rather than fight to win.

I would bet money 15 rounders would make for more boring fights on the whole, brutal 15 round wars would be very few and far between.
