I dont buy into the hand wrap shit. He still had devestating power after the Hop fight when they monitored this wraps, Hop shook off his hooks because A. Hop has a great chin and B. Hop is great definsively and never got hit completely flush with one the way Vargas did.

Hops wasn't William Joppy, David Reid or Fernando Vargas. Pretty simple really. People can look for a plethora of excuses, but at the end of the day, Hopkins proved what kind of a beard he had. So did the others. They're light years apart.

Right. Hopkins was simply the best guy (by far) that Tito had fought at that point. It has been proven since.

not only the best guy, but a guy with a style and attributes that just totally nullified tito's strengths.

Hopkins' great chin, great timing, rough style, and good pretty good defense in close and at range just meant tito didn't have a chance. He never let tito set his feet, just dominated him, and barely got hit flush.

I couldn't fucking BELIEVE hops was like a 3-1 underdog for that fight. The bookies and scribes thought he was no more of a force than joppy?

I simply couldn't seen tito beating nard, though I didn't expect it to be quite that 1 sided.
