Is it me or was Itauma slightly sluggish and unsteady on his feet at the end of that round

Itauma is feeling it a bit I think. Hrgovic has taken everything that has been thrown at him

Agreed. Few rounds now where he’s looked goosed for the final 60 seconds, then much slower all last round.
He could do with just jabbing for a couple of rounds and refresh himself a bit.

Itauma needs to pick his moments. He punched himself out to exhaustion there

I honestly think Itauma expected he would get the job done very, very early. Thinking he would be too fast and explosive for Hrgovic and wouldn't have to worry about it going anywhere near the second hald of the fight.

Carl Frampton spent 5 rounds saying he was doing fine and pacing himself brilliantly. I was sat there thinking ‘WTF are you talking about?’

Itauma was giving it his all from the off in each round and by the end of each round looked spent. It was so concerning.

I’d love to know what his corner was telling him each round

Wlad-Purrity moment. Itauma has great attacking talent but you can't swing like that for 12 straight rounds, needs to pace himself.

Itauma could have easily taken his foot off the gas a lot and picked his moments. For sure this is a big learning experience for him. I just hope he actually has the desire to want to learn from that and continue.

Think Itauma needs a change of trainer because Ben Davison advised him poorly.

I dont think it was than much of an upset. Itauma is so green and unproven, that him unraveling in the latter rounds was a solid possibility
