 I forgot for a minute your shared Aussie roots...

But yeah, I'd take Anthony to beat Lacy to bits right about now, but bottom line is...it don't really matter, does it? JC is clear no 1 at 168, and even if he flees to fight Hops, then Kessler takes over as no 1 @ 168, and he has already done for Mundine, and comprehensively so.

Props for seeing through Lacy before most others did, though...

Dunno why you brought up Calzaghe and Kessler, but I agree. Mundine is no better than a #3 and will struggle to move higher until he learns how to fight coming forward.

He can't beat Kessler based on what we saw a while back. Mikkel made Mundine look and fight like a girl.

I brought them up because, until Saturday, I actually thought Lacy might still be number 3 at 168 behind those 2 (and had said so elsewhere on these boards somewhere). Boy was I wrong...

Mundine might well be number three, but there are worse guys to be behind then JC and Mikkel. Lacy, now, is nowhere.

If Lacy's next fight is in fact against Tarver, he'll probably get KO'd. As shot as Tarver is, he should still be able to handle Lacy's slow ass.

Ok cool. Im not not saying hes great because he struggled to beat Manfredo. Im just saying Manfredo was throwing down the stretch.

That fight would be a complete joke at this point. Lacy is DOA at light heavyweight.

I'd rather see Showtime put some money into making a fight with Lacy and Lucian Bute at the Belle Center...and let Tarver either take his medicine against Dawson or quit wasting everyone's time and just have Johnson take his place.

I agree with this post. I feel that Lacy don't have the skills and is very limted. The difference is pre-calzaghe he had confidence in his limited skills. However when calzaghe smashed his ass he lost all of confidence as well as his desire which can be attributed to calzaghe. Pre-calzaghe Lacy was a very limited figther with all the confidence on the world. Post calzaghe still a limited fighter but no confidence, thus ruining him. I'll Holla 5000

During the fight, I was so disgusted with Lacy that I cheered on Manfredo. I predicted an early blowout for Lacy but I was wrong again and to me, he BARELY won the fight.
