Jeff Mayweather says Forums Are Rough

After reading all this I came to the conclusion that there's a ton of haters on here,hating on them because there doing something they can never do....

 

Nobody's trying to act innocent. Whenever I read threads, I didn't see racial stuff or insults. Was that stuff deleted or can we have some proof? If it was PMs, we obviously don't have access to those. Who sent them?

 

Another thing, he also got sick of people talking shit about me.
He got a number of PM's from people for no reason questioning if I was a legit fighter and a bunch of other rediculous shit....

Would any of you guys go some place a friend asked u to go when the people associated with the friend talk shit about the guy who invited u?

As far as the aforementioned post is concerned, if you threw Jeff on these boards, its your own damn fault for throwing him to the wolves and putting him in a situation to be harassed like this...especially when you exhibit the same sort of behavior as those f*cking w Jeff. You should have kept his advice columns relegated to mailbags, perhaps, and kept himstrictly a feature to the front page content of the site. You should have known better than to throw him to a bunch of rabid boarders and given them access to message him directly. That's your mismanagement. You should have handled him better. Hell, You guys see the abuse Ishe Smith took/taikes when he tries to post on forums. He damn near got ran out of every forum on the net. You guys take a Mayweather....a MAYWEATHER, the guys that put the "fun" in dysFUNctional, and throw him to the wolves? No wonder he fucking split. You can't come in here and blame the boarders. That's just cynical, sarcastic, wise crackin guys, who love the sport but also love talkin shit...you guys fed a pack of Rotweillers some good ole Kobe beef. I remember people taking sides in that supacal fiasco way back, but other than that, I don't remember anybody having a problem with you. In fact, I remember you freaking out on me when I said that steroids could be dangerous.

What people (plural) were talking shit to him? I only remember one poster making a comment in a thread about him regarding the Oscar fight. Jeff was very straight forward. In a nutshell he said he lost the fight because sometimes you just run into a better fighter than you.

The poster was ignorant and made some kind of comments to the effect of he wasn't "talking like a champion" (or some such crap)

Every poster in the thread lambasted him. Not because he was talking trash to "a pro boxer who spent his time to answer questions" blah blah. It was because his (the poster's) comments were completely stupid.

Everyone had Jeff's "back" for what it's worth.

Let's also remember Jeff had his own forum, he wasn't posting in GD among everyone.

People would ask various questions in it directed soley towards him. He picked and chose which ones to answer. He always did a great job.

I asked him a few questions myself.

Now all of a sudden "He left the boards because all kinds of people were talking shit to him".

I read just about every post in that forum and it wasn't like that all.

I can't speak about what pm's he received (for obvious reasons) but to make it sound like he left because of abuse is not what happened.

Exactly, the worst I remember someone "talking shit" to Jeff was when Capone asked him something along the line of " how far he could have gone if he had a good jaw". Jeff probably wasn't a forum guy, no needs to try to play finger pointing, because, while I can't comments on his pm, he was never, at least very very rarely, insulted.

 

How asking if you're a legit fighter is talking shit about you ????

there is no point sitting around and reading bad things about yourself. You need to stay positive. If someone was in your face telling you that your work is garbage, you are a turd and everything you do is worthless, you would not sit there and listen to it. No point in doing that.

You can ask Juan Diaz who is the Unified Lightweight Champion of the World, Chris Henry who is the WBC number three Light Heavyweight in the World, or young 2004 Olympian Vanes Martirosyan (who just scored a devastating first round KO on VS. network last Thursday) if I am a boxing authority, and they will all tell you that I am indeed.
I have proven myself inside of the ring and out of it as well, and I know some folks may be envious and jealous, but that's tough.Too many typists here to say anything else, hope this helps Cupey.
