Hatton looks like shit when he fights but you can tell he has talent. His foot-work is good, and he's pretty fluid when he punches (and doesn't hold).

He has a pretty good leaping left hook. It takes talent and athletism to land that punch the way he does.

Basketball Players R Some of THE BEST Pure "Athletes" on the Planet,MASS...

How Many Times have YOU Seen Chris Webber BLOCK a Shot,Retrieve it,Pass it to the PG,Run the FULL LENGTH of the Court (TOP SPEED),Leap N the Air,CATCH an Alley-Ooop & SLAM it w/AUTHORITY???:dunno: ...

That ONE Sequence Basically DEFINES Athleticism,N REED's Opinion...U're Exhibiting LEAPING Ability,Hand-Eye Coordination,SPEED,the Ability to CATCH & the TIMING to Block a Shot & Slam the Ball WHILE N Mid-Air...

Throwing a Clean,Straight Punch is EASIER to Do than the Scenario that REED just Described...REED's 3 Year Old DAUGHTER can Throw a Clean,Straight Punch (No Bullshit)...But the Little Shit will NEVER B Able to Do what an NBA Player Does...

Sure,Jermain Throws Clean,Straight Punches, but his ACCURACY SUCKS...Which Means his Hand-Eye Coordination ISN'T All that....That's Yet ANOTHER Facet of Atheticism that Jermain LACKS...

What is YOUR Idea of "Athleticism",Cause REED Sees VERY LITTLE (if ANY) N Jermain Taylor???:dunno: ...

Other than RETARDS,OLD FARTS,CRIPPLED Motherfuckers or CRACKHEADS,REED Doesn't Know Many Peeps N INNER-CITY's who Can't @ Least "Wing It" on a Hoop Court...U Must Live Around some UNtalented Mofo's:tease: ...

Jermain TALKS Country...He LISTENS to Country Music, but he was RAISED N the Inner City of Little Rock,Arkansas...

"The Country" is where U See Farms,Chickens,Cows,Tractors & Shit like that...Jermain Taylor Grew Up N a TYPICAL Black Neighborhood...No Farms or Cows or Tractors ANYWHERE Near him:nono: ...& The Accent was just a Little Different than the "Hoods" U're Accustomed to...

Roy Jones IS "Country" N Every Sense of the Word...Jermain Taylor TALKS "Country",but he was Raised N the CITY...There IS a Difference,Dog...

The lack of fluidity that JT displays is one of the things that made me dislike and not believe in him earlier in his career. I know exactly what Reed is referring too, and I always wondered if it was something he would eventually overcome. Apparantly not, the guy flat out sucks and is fortunate to be fighting at a time when his division has such a lack of competition. You stick Jt at LW or WW and he isn't even top 10.

Taylor has yet to make a final decision as it relates to defending his titles against Pavlik at 160, fighting Pavlik at a catch weight above 160, or just moving up to super middleweight in search of new challenges. Taylor promoter Lou DiBella was unavailable for immediate comment. Remember where you heard it first! (11:34 AM EST)

if that's really the case, i still wouldnt mind seeing Taylor vs. Pavlik at 168. Pavlik is a big middleweight anyhow.

perhaps the winner can fight for a title afterwards.

Sorry, but Taylor Absolutely HAS to Fight Kelly Pavlik for the LEGITIMACY of his 160lb Reign...DiBella is PROTECTING this Cat like he Would a Teenage Girls VIRGINITY...

@ This Point,Taylor should just FLY to Youngstown,Ohio,PERSONALLY Hand the Belt Over to Pavlik & ADMIT he's Scared to Fight him...

If anyone looks like they'd have trouble making 160 it would be Pavlik, if Taylor doesn't take this fight he deserves all the flack he gets

Sure he has, him and everyone else in Boxing. Has he even not made weight? Has he even not made it on the very first try? I have never once heard Taylor complain about this until now. He's bitching out plain and simple.

Exactly. Does Taylor think he's the only one to have to cut weight?

    Well,ARGUABLY,he Didn't:dunno: ...

& Even though REED can See BOTH Sides of the Verdict,@ the Time,REED had NO Problem w/Jermain Getting the Knod N BOTH Fights...

Cause REED THOUGHT the Middleweight Division Needed "New Blood"...REED THOUGHT Jermain Taylor would Breathe LIFE N 2 the Division & Add STAR QUALITY that's Sorely Lacking N Our Sport...REED THOUGHT Jermain Taylor had the Potential to DOMINATE 160 & win Titles Up To 175...

Instead,Taylor has SAT on his Title,SHITTED on Any Momentum he had from "Beating" Bernard & LOST the Respect of Boxing Fans by REPEATEDLY Picking on Little Guys, yet FAILING to Beat them Impressively...

NOW,the Motherfucker is on the Verge of DUCKING his Most LEGITIMATE Challenge SINCE Bernard...

REED Couldn't have Been MORE WRONG about Jermain Taylor...If Bernard was STILL the Middleweight Champ,he'd have Fought Pavlik,Miranda AND Abraham by Now...

    REED:rolleyes:

Hopkins would have fought whoever his mandatory was. If he was still champ he'd have no issues facing Pavlik or anyone else who was his mandatory.

Agreed. Taylor is a chump. He pretty much admits himself he is only in it for the money. He is not good for boxing.

I like hopkins. I never understood why he had so many haters.

Hopkins isn't much different in that regard, he was in it for the money too, and he even admitted it. The guy wanted to fight Tony Ayala when he came out of prison!

In the locker room before schooling Tito.

Interviewer: What means more to you, the title or the millions?

    Hopkins: The millions.

Millions is a lot of money. Most of Hopkins career he was just facing whoever they put in front of him for not that much money. I believe he deserves only big paydays at this point in his career. Those didn't start happening until pretty late in his career.

    IN OTHER WORDS

"I had no Idea that Hopkins would go up to 175 and absolutely kick the shit out of Tarver, so, yeah, at the time I was cool with Jermaine."

I guess they are ALL in it for the money to some extent. They're going to try and get paid as much as possible. But some more than others, and that was a point in Hops career where he deserves some big paydays. He was in his late 30's at that point.

A fighter like Taylor should be young and hungry, and want recognition, glory etc, not soft touches and easy paydays.

He either doesn't have much passion for boxing, doesn't believe he's much good, or really does have a suspect beard and has been KO'd in sparring etc.

ah. now i see why his supposed intentions to move up to 168 were publicized ahead of time. it was the laying of the foundation for another Taylor duck-job.

How?? Joe Cal or Kessler will be there waiting.

    Come on.

If he springs a move to 168....you're complaining.

    If he announces it.....you're whining.

This fucking Pavlik has beaten 1 guy, who already got beaten, and all of a sudden he's the most ducked guy since Donalds nephews. BS.:shit:
