Taylor has enough, just enough, and the right people in his corner and the right people in his pay to get this done. When its all said and done, people will be talking about the dignity and underrated class of Taylor, and the vultures will descend to pick clean the bones of "yet another overrated white hype". Thus has been the identifiable pattern for the better part of 30 years, and thus it will continue.

Kelly Pavlik is all hype because he beat an overrated fighter,..I mean look at the trail of superstars Zab Judah seems to be leaving behind?. I don't think many people are festering on his white skin when sensationalizing his capabilities,..it's more to do with one, of the two most common perception altering "overration traps",..

1) Power - *Kelly, Miranda, Zab
1a) Handspeed - *Zab

He also beat Ikeke and Jantuah, both of whom are better than any of Kellys non-Miranda related competition.

I wouldnt talk about Zab badly if I were you. Your boyfriend Taylor is coming off of struggling big time against Zab's son.

No middleweight great should struggle with Spinks, or Ouma.

Does ANYONE believe that a prime Hopkins, Jones, Toney, McCallum, or Nunn would have struggled with Cory Spinks, and gone the distance with Ouma? I sure as hell dont think so!

 

They're 1 fight a piece,.. he's hardly Zab's son,.. besides, just as many fighters fear Spinks for the very opposite reason they fear Margarito, Spinks is pure bitch, who will happily "RUN AWAY" with your title if he gets the chance. If anything, Taylor should've been given CREDIT for the utterly high-risk low-reward nature of the fight.

 

Taylor should win this one as long as he still throws a straight right hand with bad intentions on it. I do think we will see Jermain face adversity due to the range and volume and stamina of what Pavlik brings, Taylor is going to have to be prepared to live up to his moniker on Sept 29th

 

You know what? Pavlik is gonna crack this kid, and Taylors gonna do a Larry Holmes.
