Crazy thing is the force of the punch was somewhat diminished because Rosario partially blocked it.

I thought Rosario was winning the rounds he didn't go down in. And the first knxokdown was on the back of the head. And Charlo kept holding Rosario everytime he opened up. But clearly, Charlo was right to expect he could just wait around for the knock out.

 

The only top level fighter that should be KO'd by a jab is Terry Norris

I don’t know if it was the weirdest dive ever but it was too freaky to be impressive.

It was weird how his body flew straight back as soon as he got hit. Damaging body shots have to “sink in” to the target so the opponent absorbs the force of it. Guys that get hurt, dropped or stopped by bodyshots usually don’t get tossed by the punch like a Batman goon.

It was weird how his body went limp on impact when the punch hit him and how he flopped on the canvas from a shot to the body. Never seen that.

It was weird how he convulsed and seized up, apparently from having the wind knocked out of him. That’s how someone responds when they’ve had the wind knocked out them for the very first time in life. When they’re a child and their shocked by the experience. A pro boxer or any non-retard would just ball up or double over.

When a guy rolls around it’s usually something broken or injured and he’s frantically trying to find a position where the pain isn’t as sharp. That’s what he looked like but the only thing I can think of that could get that reaction was if the punch tore an abdominal muscle. Maybe his breathing was aggravating it and that’s why he seemed so panicked.

Outside of that, it was a dive. Even Mell made a “wtf you doin, dawg?” face at him. Like he wasn’t going to question it, but then Rosario went over the top with it . “Sum’n wrong weedim!!!”

 

For once, I fully agree with Terp.

It was suspect as fuck, and yeah I think Rosario wanted out and took a dive.

Never in my life have I seen convulsions from a body shot. Convulsions??? That would only be explainable if Rosario was having a fucking seizure brought on by head trauma. But his CT scan at the hospital was clean, so I feel like the guy was full of shit.

Look at Hill when Roy KO'd him. No bullshit convulsions - he was writhing around in pain. And that was a LEGIT power punch... not some bullshit jab.

 

Wouldn't be surprised also.

Impressive KO???...Fuck No...Charlo has Accumulated a DECENT List of KO's and This WON'T Be 1 of Them, Obviously...But That Doesn't Automatically Equate to Rosario FAKING or QUITTING Bruh...

Guys who go down on body shots usually sag or collapse.

They just sort of fold, take a half-step-back and fold down.

And they look funny, they stare off into the distance and grimace.

Theatrics is impossible if/once you are really hurt. You just sort of shut down rather than wind up.

And you don't beat the canvas in fury either. That's baloney. You're happy to just be alive.
