Castillo should never be in a main event again.... he should never even be the B-side to the fight people are paying to go watch. He has pulled this shit way too much.

Yes, pathetic. Either move up to 147 or retire like Gatti did.

Even if Castillo is an idiot himself, I'm surprised his team are stupid and unprofessional enough to sign a 140 pound fight then pull this bollocks.

I blame Arum and Suleiman. They are the ones hooking him up since he's been part of the WBC familiy. They are the ones banking on him making weight again at 140.

No. They'll match him at whatever weight the fighter says they can make. Arum and Suleiman aren't the one's who suddenly can't make a weight they made last fight out.

Castillo is lazy. Stomach bug.

Dan Rafael said Arum had nothing to do with Castillo fighting (well supposedly fighting) this weekend.

This will actually be a very good development if it quickly leads to Junior Witter-Timothy Bradley.

Good for who? Bradley hasn't faced anybody yet. At least with Castillo, he'd have had a decent workout against a very solid pro. Witter beats Bradley and what does it mean? There's no way he deserves a shot at a title yet, IMO.

You're feelings on Bradley and Witter-Bradley are about the same as mine on Castillo and Bradley-Castillo. I don't think Castillo deserved to be in an eliminator and I'm not sure a win over him would have meant much of anything for Bradley (if he beat him).

If Witter-Bradley happens sooner because Castillo couldn't fight this weekend, I welcome the cancellation.

Why so high on Bradley? I say again, whats he done? Castillo is easily more credible at this point in time, IMO. Regardless of his slothly attitude towards training camp.

of course Castillo is to blame for not making weight.

But they are responsible for making the fights happen. with Castillo's history and recently being kod by Haton why would anybody bother putting him close to another tittle shot?

Clearly they are hooking him up with a tittle eliminator bringing him close to another tittle shot.

Suleiman has done this in the past he and Arum should know better.

Castillo telling someone he can make weight shouldn't be reason enough to wanna give him a contract.

I don't know if I'm that high on Bradley, but I think beating Castillo at this point would probably be a formality and it's not like beating Castillo in any way prepares Bradley for Witter.

I agree on that last part. Still, why would it be a 'formality'? I ask again, what as Bradley done for you to be so high on him?

I agree with your opinion that Bradley hasn't earned his ranking, if that's what you're talking about but I think Castillo is a done fighter.

Gatti wipes his ass with Castillo at 140 or 147. Castillo hasn't defeated a single fighter of note at either one of these weights. Gatti would brutalize him, a-la Leija or Dorin.
