BTW Marquez should have retired after the Pac knockout. That would have been a great ending for his career.
Also would have been a big FU to Pac. You gave me 4 chances to beat you thanks I won one now I am out.
I completely agree. Bradley definitely was the "ring general" and controlled the pace and style of the fight. But it was one of those weird fights where one of the guys is kind of controlling the action, but the other one is landing the more solid shots. That's why I scored it for Marquez.
All I know is I don't think Floyd-Bradley is a good fight at all.. One article I read someone said "no one can outbox Bradley" LOL I think someone can
NOPE.....Marquez was a punk bitch for not giving Pacquiao a return rematch....and Bradley is ass for getting the biggest gift in history for his Pacquiao fight....so FUCK 'em both... Marquez tried to get away be fighting someone he though he could beat with little difficulty.....nah all the momentum he had off sleeping Pacquiao is GONE...:finger:
Random guy: "Barry Bonds hit a bunch of home runs" mikE: "fuck Barry Bonds. PEDs. Fuck baseball. Fuck the world. whaaaaaaa" Random guy: "Did he hit a lot of home runs or not?" mikE: "so you have to hit a lot of home runs to get benefits from PEDs???" Random Guy: "wait, what does that have to do with what I said?"
The main thing to look at now is: It's a goddamn shame that Bradley is with TR. Floyd aside, Bradley-Garcia, and Bradley-Broner would both be compelling fights. Hell, I'd even have interest in Bradley-Thurman. Too bad we won't see any of those fights. Guess we gotta hope that Rios upsets Manny, so we can see Bradley-Rios.
If Bradley were with G we'd be regretting that he couldn't face Pacquiao or Marquez. The shame of it is that boxing works the way it does, with crooks like Arum and Shaeffer running the show. Not to mention, HBO and Showtime.
History has Shown, if the Fight is BIG Enough, Rival Promotions/Networks CAN Coexist.... REED:hammert:
Imo, the problems is mainly with HBO. If that fuck head Hershmann would be wise, he wouldn't have pulled the ''we won't work with G anymore'' bullshit (even worst, by showing his cards in the open, he reinforced Showtime and TR hands at his expense). Instead, he'd basically told them, for example, : ''I want Bradley vs Garcia, we're gonna give each X amount of $, if you don't want to work with each others fine, we'll still buy Bradley and Garcia next fight but for Y amount of $'' (were Y is obviously smaller than X). This guy has the biggest pull in boxing (wich means $$$) and he's not able to get anything from it.
