Kindof surprised to come here and see not a single thread or discussion about this fight? Did anybody else see it? Personally I thought Jojo Diaz was robbed of a victory, he blazed Rakhimov with the way harder, cleaner shots, and more of them, pretty much throughout the fight. I thought Rakhimov won 3 or 4 rounds at most. 1 judge gave him 5 rounds and 2 judges gave him 6 rounds thus the majority draw. Should have been a clear UD for Diaz though. I was quite impressed with Diaz, would like to see him fight T Lopez.
I watched it. Was kind if disappointed with Diaz's performance and in a way, felt he was lucky to get a draw. I agree Diaz landed the harder cleaner shots but Rakhimov outworked him in a lot of the rounds and was controlling the pace of the fight.
I was gonna stay up and watch it, since I've never seen Diaz fight, but I fell asleep after thinking "am I actually arsed?" and the answer was no. I don't even know the result so I clearly don't care that much. Warrington vs Lara definitely took up most of the evenings talking point. Looks like arkid is gonna get away with that robbery as well.
