You guys are giving JMM too much credit for making an adjustment. I didn't see him make an adjustment. Like I said earlier he was throwing that uppercut since the first rd. The difference was that by the middle rds Diaz had regressed so much both offensively and defensively that the uppercut was able to find a home. I think Diaz' regression was a result of JMM harder shots begining to take a toll on Diaz rather than some brilliant adjustment JMM made.

    Last Night was RIDICULOUS...

Juan Manuel Marquez is an ARTIST, His GLOVES were Paint Brushes & Juan Diaz Was his CANVAS, while Simultaneously Ending Up ON the Canvas...

As REED Admitted a Couple Days Ago, Marquez was an ACQUIRED Taste & REED is Still STRUGGLING w/Grasping WHY it Took him Sooooooooo Fucking Loooooooooooong to EMBRACE Marquez....

To Put Last Night in General Terms, REED Went to Houston Last Night EXPECTING to See 1 of THE Best Fighter's in the ENTIRE World Do his Thang...No Different than How REED Would Go OUT of his Way to See LeBron, Kobe, Moss, Adrian Peterson or Some Other ELITE Athlete Play THEIR Craft...

REED Traveled to Houston w/HIGH EXPECTATIONS of Marquez & he DELIVERED like a GREAT Athlete/Fighter SHOULD...REED was BLOWN AWAY by How Marquez NEVER Panicked or Folded Under the Storm, Even Shook Off a CUT & VIOLENTLY Whipped Juan Diaz's Ass IN HOUSTON!!!...

    Marquez is Undoutedly a B.M.F.

Marquez ALTERED the Trajectory on his Uppercuts AND Fired More RIGHT HAND Versions of them....

That Last Uppercut was an ANTICIPATED Punch...When Diaz DIPPED his Head, Marquez's Uppercut was ALREADY Heading Upwards to Bounce Off of Diaz's Dome...He KNEW Diaz would Dip that Way AND B Open for an Uppercut...

    That's a Mid-Fight Adjustment...

Haha, I don't actually disagree with your statement. :kidcool: JMM's accomplishments late in his career are pretty damn good.
