Lets also remember that Barrera beat this uninspired clown, without losing a second of their fight...right before Barrera got beat by Marquez.

Juarez is a can with a left hook.

End of round 11. That's a great chin, regardless.

Well, first fight was very, very close.

In the second I thought Juarez won 3.

Yup. Hell, I'd even say his left hook is one of the best in the game....and to be frank, Juarez throws all punches very, very nicely.

His problem is one of style - he fights in one gear all the time. And he fights in a style that doesn't suit him: he fights as a selective puncher, when he doesn't have the physical build to fight that way.

    Peace.

I would like to see Rocky fight Valero so Valero can score another early KO.

You know the funny thing though? I can see Valero getting seriously hurt in that fight.

Wow this is after you are critical of me saying Lacy-Kessler is competitive.

Juarez blows. He doesn't let his hands go. Valero would land bomb after bomb on Juarez's grill. Juarez would leave the ring on a stretcher. He would get seriously hurt.

    MOSQUERA hurt Valero....badly.

And he doesn't throw nearly as tightly as Juarez does.

Valero has major power and strength....but bro, he is SLOPPY and WIDE and he gets countered on the inside often. He's gone backwards quite a bit since going overseas.

And Juarez has proven to have a pretty resilient chin.

I'm not saying Juarez wins....but Valero would inevitably get hit by a tight, corkscrewing inside Juarez left hook....and that punch can really hurt Edwin.

Juarez would be inside quite often until he gets stopped. If he does.

Styles DO play into this. Valero fights nothing like Soto or MAB or Marquez.

I've been following Valero for quite a while.

    Peace.

Mosquera threw punches at Valero. Juarez doesn't let his hands go at all. Valero would come out swinging landing on Juarez's grill when ever he feels like it. Juarez is much slower then Mosquera too. This would just be a case of which round does Rocky get KTFO in.

Mosquera is also a mediocre puncher, solid at best...and knocked Valero down and hurt him.

The point is, Valero doesn't play keep-a-way, doesn't use a jab, and as such would give Juarez opportunities to be inside and unload his biggest, crisp shots and hurt him.

And no, Juarez is not "much slower" than Mosquera. Vicente throws wide shots himself and isn't THAT quick. When Rocky is in position and can pull the trigger, he has very quick hands inside.

All I'm saying is that because of styles there's a good probability Juarez could hurt Valero.

    That's all.

    Peace.

Juarez doesn't have any speed at all. Valero would pummle his ass from the outside. Juarez wouldn't throw punches back anyway. He never lets his hands go. His hands would be for defence in this fight. Juarez wouldn't hurt or hit Valero period. Fighting Juarez would be like hitting the heavy bag in the gym for Valro.

I thought it was an ok fight. I expected JMM to beat him rather easy. But Juarez was game even with that cut over his eye.
