Judah has NO CHANCE against Hatton. Margarito is a less difficult task for him as Antonio is alot SLOWER than Rickey, more hittable and not as busy.
I took that into my equation when I noted that Spinks is a superior fighter to Rodney. Margarito might be an improved fighter since he was 19, but Spinks is no Jones, he's much better. The original statement, therefore, still stands. Margarito is 0-2 against Spinks and Baldomir.
but I could also counter that the last time Margarito lost at welterweight was when he was 19. Yet in your false sense of infinite wisdom you would probably counter by saying terms like resume, santos, i dont care about 175lbs, schooled, slowed, zab is a gazelle, margarito size advantage etc basically all kinds of crap to argue your point when you become somewhat less biased THEN talk to me after talking to Double L
I just actually rewatched Spinks-Rodney Jones fight. I take my words back. Spinks is not superior to Jones. He's simply on another level as a fighter. That was a ridicuolously easy win for Spinks, something like 120-108 by all three judges. Spinks would easily decision Margarito, without breaking much sweat.
rodney jones should've gotten his title shot 3/4 years ago. the guy was an IBF mandatory for how long?
:flip: whats wrong Floydstaff your superior knowledge about EVERYTHING getting butt hurt? say hi to mr ellerbee he should be on the other nut next to you
Yeah, I remember how Spinks crawled his way to a razor-thin decision against Mayorga. Or when he Willie Pepped his way to razor-thin decision over Karmazin in the 12th round. Or when he forever became famous for being the only decent fighter ever to lose to Zab Judah. Spinks is virtually untouchable.
Styles my friend, styles. Spinks decisioned Mayorga but Lost to Judah. Mayorga beat Forrest who had beaten Mosley who had beat De La Hoya but Oscar would have probably destroyed Judah. It's all about styles. Spinks' style vs Margarito's can only end one way: Decision for Spinks.
Yeah I know and Margarito´s style is that he can beat nobody; outside of the guys he´s already beaten. ::
Well, he certainly can't beat Paul Williams, Daniel Santos, Corie Spinks or Rodney Jones. We know that for a fact.
santos is practically a light heavyweight (if he even fights anymore), stinks recently fought at 160, and jones is old as fuck. none of those (with an exception of williams) you stated are facts.
Ummm.....ok....so you don't call these guys' victories over Margarito facts? what do you call these victories? fiction?
Exactly my point. He avoided Spinks, just like he avoided all the other top guys in his division (Mosley, ODLH, Tito, PBF, Quartey, Judah, Spinks, Forrest, Mayorga) Why did he avoid them? Cause he knew they'd schooled him.
Margarito isn't as busy as Hatton?   Do you watch boxing? Or do you just suck the balls of certain fighters and formulate your arguments based on which ones taste the best?
