I don't think Witter deserves a shot at ALL now.. he needs to get back in the back of line, so.. we'll prolly never see that fight, Hatton I bet only fights like 4-5 more times and Witter will prolly get stretched again trying to climb back up

 

Lets not act like Hatton has this top tier resume, and has fought top fighters his only career. 85% of Ricky's resume are still bums. Guys who were certainly no more deserving of a shot than Witter. What did Juan Lazcano do to "deserve" a shot at Hatton, besides lose to Harris(Witter's son no less) over a year ago! Hatton was fighting Witter's leftovers' leftovers, yet Witter doesnt deserve a shot?

Whatever happened to the days when a fighter WANTED to fight the guy who bad mouths him so bad, just to beat that cat's ass? Nope, not Hatton. He feels as if Witter talking shit about him is the perfect reason NOT to give him a shot, saying he doesnt deserve the payday. Which is what Ricky claims at least.

I dunno brah, I guess what I'm trying to say is. If Hatton really felt confident about beating Witter, I think he woulda BEEN fought him. I dont buy his bullshit about not wanting to fight him cause of the trash talk, cause if that were the case, he wouldnt be fighting Paulie either.

Ricky had no fear of fighting Floyd, because he wasnt EXPECTED to win, and because he has no personal rivarly with Floyd. With Witter its different, because Ricky would be expected to win, and a loss to Witter would be FAAAR more embarassing, and hurtful to Ricky than losing to the P4P best.

Well if there were to be a rematch, and Witter wins, especially if he wins impressively, it puts him right back as a major player.
