It's hard to rank haney above Lopez. He did dominate the mediocre guy twice who beat lopez but then he had a far lesser performance against lomachenko than Lopez did and nothing else in his career compares to the taylor victory

You gotta be a myopian amphibian to rate haney above him

No i havent, but you obvioulsy missed lopez-kambozo and haney-kambozo 1 and 2.

At this point in their career, while i do think that lopez might be better, it's far from a foregone conclusion

Haney is food for Lopez, Stevenson, and Davis. His best chance might actually be versus Regis.

Is Haney gonna go 12 without getting nailed flush by Davis?

Haney's got good options at 140 outside of Teo.

Regis = Slow feet, and not as good a skillset as Loma. Haney's got a chance.

Ryan & Rolly = Both trash. Haney's a favorite in both matchups.

Ramirez = Too limited for Haney. Dev would box to a comfortable decision.

So his prospects are good outside of those three guys.

I dont think he would, but i wouldnt be terribly surprised if he pulled it off. I dont think hed fight as recklessly against tank than he did against loma.

I feel that tank is starting to get overrated. The david tua strategy is bound to faill sooner rather than later

I detest Davis, but the Tua comparison is unfair to him. Tua didn't have anywhere near the skillset Tank has, so even if they employ similar strategies, Davis can pull off better. However, to his credit, prime Tua maintained a far better workrate than Davis. But in terms of skill and talent, Tua couldn't do what Tank can do.

Shakur and Fimo have the talent to beat Davis. Haney does not.

They gotta make Teo vs Matias happen next year. Stylistically Teo would do well against a guy like Matias and could outbox him and he also has the power to hurt him badly. All boils down to Teo's mental state and if he can handle Matias' constant aggression and power.

I like Matias but Teo is too skillful for him. I think Matias would at least fight him unlike Tank.

Teo is getting hugely overrated again. He has a ton of flaws, and theyll get exposed again soo enough. Credit to him for wanting to make a mathias fight. That would have been a war

Teofimo now saying that his "retirement" announcement was all a publicity stunt (no shit). Basically he was just doing it for attention even though nobody believed him for a second. What exactly did it really do other than to make himself look even more of a twat? Talented fighter but goddamn can he be annoying.

“I had to milk the game,” admitted Lopez to Boxing Social. “I wasn’t gonna retire, it was a publicity stunt. You gotta know how to work the media too.”

whats the problem here? you all knew he wasnt retiring and it was for publicity. he admits what is known and youre upset?

you want him to stick to his charade and claim he was seriously considering passing up on all these upcoming paydays in the prime of his athletic career ?

Teo, in order to "work" the media you have to actually have the media going. Neither the media nor the fans ever believed the retirement was legit.

I suspect that Fimo is generally an alright person. I just think he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
