Just watched Pirog/Jacobs....

I really like the way this guy fights. He has a pretty exciting style. He's smooth and skillful. Granted, he was fighting the overrated Daniel Jacobs. I'm looking forward to seeing him fight some real competition in the future.

Pirog became overrated as fuck as a result of that fight. He's a good fighter, but cmonn..... it was Danny Jacobs. Danny always looked to me like a homeless man's Jermain Taylor.

Some people were saying after that fight that Pirog would beat Pavlik.

I dunno about now, since Kelly is a washed up drunk. But prime Pavlik would obliterate Pirog.

As a side note, I wish Danny Jacobs the best. He has cancer. His career is obviously over as a result of that, but hopefully he'll be ok.

 

Pirog IMO is a smaller, less talented version of Froch.

Yeah, and Jacobs wouldn't beat Hopkins if B-Hop was 5 mins from his death.

Taylor was better than Jacobs in EVERY way.

 

Holy shit. Never knew that. Poor guy, that cancer is very aggressive and it is near his spine. He is probably done. I hope he beats it.
