Kambosos vs Haney June 5th

Ryan would get his ass kicked and lose virtually every round..

I dont think Josh has the footwork to deal with Haney. I think more fast and technical guys are his kryptonite. I cant 100% chalk up the fight with Jack as being unprepared.

Loma I think is just too small for Haney. Plus, a solid jab seems to really be a problem for Loma, which is another reason why I think he's insanely overrated.

When Haney outboxes Loma, dont say i didn't tell ya so.

Haney lost four rounds to Linares.

If he lost rounds and got hurt against Garcia, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I don't really care about Haney enough to properly go into them, but I will say it's weird how you're opinion of him has gone up so much based on doing exactly what you thought he would against a guy you clearly think is average as fuck.

Taylor would bully Haney up close.

 

In fairness, I started coming around on Haney before Saturday.

He did what he was supposed to do against an average fighter - virtually pitch a shut out.

I dont think Haney would be there for Josh to bully him. I think Haney would be nailing him with the jab followed by the straight right, and Josh would be too ponderous on his feet to pin him down.

Teofimo I more think has the tools to beat Haney, but the dumbass has to fucking use them.

 

I agree Teo is a worse match-up. I don't think Haney would've even beaten the version who Kambosos fought. There's no way he would've gotten Teo's respect, or avoided his money shot for that long. Kambosos isn't great, but he's a helluva lot tougher than Haney is.

I think Josh struggled with another southpaw and avoiding the left hand more than he would with Haney's 1-2. Haney has shown me absolutely nothing to think he could fend off the Taylor who fought Prograis. Not the skills, nor the firepower.

I really struggle to see Haney doing well against tough guys his own size.

As I say, I don't really rate him a technician. Not that he's a bad one or something like say, Ryan. But that he more relys on being way bigger and longer, while also being naturally quicker. Those aspects play a much bigger role than his jab and footwork IMO - although they aren't bad either.

His defence is ridiculously overrated though.

I'd like to see, but I'd much much rather see Taylor-Fimo due to the hatred they have for eachother.

Taylor and Haney are friends.

 

If Taylor can make 140 safely he should be a very very live dog vs these guys, at the worst.

 

Taylor's very live to beat anyone below 147.

It's just against Crawford, Spence, Ennis that i would write off his chances.
