Roman beat Ouma despite a BS KD in round 8 when Ouma hit him low. I had Roman winning by a point. he landed the cleaner, harder punches for most of the fight. Ouma looked pretty shitty. no defense and just way to casual. If that is what Ouma has left he should quit.
Ouma moved like he had his feet in a bucket of cement tonight as well. I don't know if it was just an off night or what. I wouldn't say the kid is shot, but perhaps he just underestimated this kid tonight.
Ouma certainly has a history of dogging fights that he doesn't deem important. I won't write him off just yet.
Ouma is really average, decent but far from great, can't believe the hype such a sloppy fighter received, not surprise he lost vs some nobody.
Azazel I've been saying this for ages, he is decent, nothing more. I am genuinely perplexed by the hype he's got, he simply isn't that good.
I have an annoucement, everyone... SHUT UP! Man that was terrible to see last night. Off night or not, you do NOT lose to Saul Roman if you have anything left. Kassim looked like crap, and in front of a crowd that looked no bigger than a family gathering. Damn. first last week, I get the latest issue of The Ring (for some reason, still being delivered to me though I haven't renewed in a minute :dunno: ), with the first two-page spread being Viv laid out, KTFO along the bottom rope from the Witter fight. Now this.
Usually must one renew every single minute for the Ring magazine to be sent to them monthly? It seems like a lot of work just for a magazine to be delivered.
I think it would be more adequate for his style if he could move down in weight to 147. If he can't, then he will always try to walk down right from the beginning bigger guys. Roman stood his ground and the times that he moved, he was waiting for Ouma to come into range and fire straight shots down the pike, to the body and head. Roman did great body work, perhaps it helped Ouma look offspeed.
