Who would you bet on? Who is the better fighter? That's what has always made more sense to me than ranking fighters based upon accomplishments. Either way, you will make mistakes, but ranking someone higher who you would bet against just seems insipid.

Why? I thought that behaviour down Woolton-Basset, all that grooming that there is to be had in the streets of Bolton, would have been right up his street, no? Land of Hoooppppe and Glooory.......The Yanks wont settle for any of his shite.

Actually I think Roach's comment was pretty spot on when describing Hatton.

Let's be honest, he wasn't much of a boxer and as a brawler his power wasn't much. He far by padding his record against no hoppers in England with a style that was just begging for a counter hook to his very open chin.

Irish you sound borderline biased claiming Roach was wrong while constantly deflecting the obvious fouling Hatton regurgitated all over that match with Tszyu.

Still it was pretty dumb (yet honest) for Roach to say that. The very moment the period spilled out of Roach's mouth both his and Pacquiao's legacies took a slight dip.
