Won't happen. From the 8th or 9th round on, only one guy looked remotely comfortable in there. Khan will accept the gift, and move quietly on, following in the footsteps of ODLH and studiously refusing rematches to anyone who has kicked the fucking shit out of him.

Khan wouldn't last more than 1 maybe 2 rounds.

There was no robbery here. Even with the point deduction not counted. Close but clear win for Khan. Great outcome for the division. Maidana is still viable and it didn't look that way in round one and 2.

Khan has brain damage. I'm telling you. Late in the 12th round, Maidana finally found his brain, and punched Khan so hard in the Glutes he nearly killed him.

I fear that Conman has passed his biggest test.

Bradley and Alexander dont have the power to dent his chin.

    Exactly.

'This fight where I was on the verge of being KO'd 7 times at least shows Im a different fighter now and the Prescott fight is in the past'.

They don't need it. Where the fight was "lost" {he won, FFS} was when Chon was backed into the ropes, like a statuesque glass jaw, and Maidana was bludgedoning him to the body, when he should have been Ricky Hattoning the shit out of him with rapid tattoos

I feel the same. But IMO a rematch should be given after that.

You can't get a decision where that happens, that's my point. There's just no way Khan looked a winner in there at the end.

If you're asking me who won that fight, I say Maidana, every time.

As I've said before - Khan is the single most inept champion I've ever seen at close and mid range. Absolutely novice if you get inside on him or if fatigue takes his jab and lateral movement from him.

On the outside he's up there with the very best but he's as painfully 1 dimensional as Maidana is.

As long as he has Cortez, giving him the breaks at the right time. This was like Marlon B. Wright in Andrade vs. Bute I. You can always sense what is going on. The rushing pressure fighter gets interrupted by timely breaks, inside fighting is not allowed.

I never wanna see that head case Ortiz fight again. If he had his head together he'd beat Khan inside 5, but rather than do that he'd circle round the ring like Leonard against Hagler one round then lunge with single haymakers from 8 feet away then go back to circling.

You guys are so upset. You constantly shit on Khan saying he was scared and he would never fight Maidana, he beats him and you guys still call him a Con and resort to using mythical fighters just to imagine him losing.

    He ain't gonna. Suckas.

Agreed. It confused some people to describe a rangey "boxer" as 1 dimensional, but it's just the same as a fighter who can only fight inside, coming forward etc like Maidana.

Khan can only fight long range. When Maidana was inside and in range, he raped Khan.

I think Khan's team do what they can to keep Khan away from anyone heavy handed now, and that includes a rematch with Marcos.

Yep, there's a reason I was excited about Ortiz and thought he was legit, he is a VERY talented fighter.

But yeah, he is a head case. Simply doesn't have the mental make up to be an elite fighter.

I'm saying it now......I don't think Khan will be the same fighter after that. I think he's going to become so gunshy and managed-to-fuck that he ends up back in England before too long.:nono: The sight of him, blood-smeared, reeling around the ring for the 10th, 11th and 12th with nothing coming back is enough to suggest that he won't fancy the job after this.

Certainly, for openers, there will be NO REMATCH.

140 is a great division with all of these obviously flawed fighters at the top of it.
