GOOD performance by Khan tonight. That jab worked Paulie over from start to finish and his hand speed is very impressive.

Plenty of things for him to do at 140 and good to hear him say that Maidana is next. He has to fight and beat a legit puncher to get the Prescott monkey of his back and that will be a good fight.

Nice work. Now I'm off to sleep...

He was really gracious in defeat. He called Khan a similar version of himself in his younger years but bigger. Kellerman asked him if his legs felt okay and he said they were alright, and that he's interested in seeing the rest of the fights between the top guys at 140.

Offered zero excuses, gave Khan full credit. Said that Khan reminded him of himself when he was younger, and suggested that maybe he's getting old.

Once Amir settled down he looked great. That left jab was sickening. He got caught a few times early but I think it was due to a lack of respect for Paulie's power. Alexander is the biggest threat to Amir at 140. Maidana gets smashed.

ortiz seemed to have changed his style. he's not as vicious as he was knocking out guys like arnoutis and resto. he looked sharp in spurts, but not the same guy we saw even in the early going against maidana.

Glad you guys kind of did a round by round. Not everyone was able to catch the fight.

I think Khan beats Maidiana. I may not have ever seen Khan fight, but that's okay, I've seen Maidiana and like I said, I think Khan beats him.

Your long history of hate for Tszyu knows zero bounds. You'd probably pick Katsidis over him. Please explain to me how Bradley beats a prime Tszyu. He has nothing to keep Tszyu off with, and make no mistake... Bradley's defense is nothing special. Tszyu in his prime had fast hands, and excellent timing to go with his power and would have little trouble finding Timmy. And yeah Bradley recovers real fast vs a mental midget like Holt. Getting hurt vs Tszyu is a completely different world entirely. The circa 95-00 Tszyu kills Tim Bradley. Yes even the Tszyu that lost to Philips would kill Bradley. Timmy doesnt have the strength and firepower of Cool Vince.

The circa 05 Hatton beats the shit outta Bradley for the same reason. Timmy has nothing to deter Hatton with.

Your truly overrating Bradley. He's Stevie Johnston LIKE, but Stevie was a first class techncian, and had better technical ability then Bradley for my money.

Bradley is a poor man's Johnston I think. Or since he's a right hander you could say that he's a poor poor poor, destitute man's Mel Taylor.

Tim will have trouble getting in on Amir...Tim's a short guy as well. Khan's best weapon is his jab, but his footwork on his 1-2 is really bad...he reaches too much and falls off balance...thus he can't throw a lefthook behind it. His lefthook is better when he leads with it.

With that said...I think Tim counterpunches him effectively and Bradley is far faster than Paulie. He wouldn't stand in front of Amir and pose.

It's an interesting fight but seeing as Tim doesn't have power it's another 12 round fight.

Tim can't stop a lefthook to save his life...fortunately Khan's is non-existent and he doesn't have power himself.

Until he gets hit on the chin.

Can't train chin. They fought Paulie for a reason.

My God, did nobody teach that fucking guido retard to PALM A JAB? PALM IT YOU FUCKING NUGGET. He's faster than you, slipping isn't working, just palm the god damn thing now and then.

Khan basically just throws two punches, with the occasional long hook when he gets adventurous. Freddie's obviously had some effect because there was ONE uppercut in the middle rounds somewhere. Both these guys suck, they're really, really fast and NOTHING else.

Oh yeah, Ive talked to Ugo about this before. He believes guys like Khan are some sort of new level of evolved, streamlined fighting machine, just sticking to leaping one twos & ear muffs because they're all that really works. Rather than accepting the obvious that these robot athletes are only successful now because the talent conveyor belt has slowed to a pitiable trickle.

A guy like Chavez would have stopped Khan in 4. Somebody taught him to palm a fucking jab for FUCK SAKE, PAULI!

This sums up what I said in my post above. The good thing about Khan...when fighting guys with no power it doesn't force them to do anything else. And if they try anything there's no harm in getting hit with a shot or two because the guy can't punch.

The negative, in with a lesser guy who can punch there is no plan B. Khan only knows one way to fight and once that's not working there's nothing to fall back on.

That's why I think Alexander fucks him up. Khan will get hit at angles he didn't know existed and he's so programmed he'll get hit with the same shit all night long.

A guy like Maidana he should be easily. The problem is...if/when Maidana connects and shows he can take Khan's power...what then.

But...Maidana is open for pretty much everything which means Khan doesn't have to think much...just throw 1-2's and the occasional lefthook...

Bradley and Alexander have the potential to outbox him...make him use his boxing IQ and based on what I've seen...there's not much there.

Lastly...I wouldn't necessarily count Ortiz out as far as beating Khan...if Victor can land some clean shots, he's the better puncher of the two. I can see him doing to Khan what Maidana did to him.

nevermind 'boxing' iq, khan has the mental iq of a fence post.

he really hasn't changed from when he first turned pro. head up, robotic, predictable.

its just a matter of time until he literally walks into a puncher. he was walking into paulie who cant punch for shit.

what worries me the most is the matchmaking that is gonna occur, the lack of punchers and the horrible uk media garbage about how 'great' he is.

    for fucks sake.
