Even though Floyd would beat Thurman, it's nice to see somebody call him out and talk shit about him. Fighters respect and bumlick Floyd too much these days. He's a great fighter sure, but if you're a boxer you've got to believe you're the best guy around, otherwise what's the fucking point? I don't think anybody has talked shit about Floyd and called him out since Hatton if my memory serves me right.

Thurman is calling out everybody at 147. He says he's willing to fight Maidana next. Hell, he was willing to fight Maidana 3 years ago. Maidana pulled out.

He was willing to fight Guerrero earlier this year. Guerrero and his punk ass dad ducked him.

He called out Brook. He's calling out Khan ON THE SAME CARD as Khan.

So it's not as if he's not willing. Saying what you want about him, but it's not UNTRUTHFUL to say that the top welterweights aren't really in a rush to face him.

Me and Xplosive seem to be the only people on Fightbeat who like Thurman.

I think he's pretty good, and he's likeable enough too.

He would beat the shit out of Khan and Alexander, no doubt, and that mook Brook too.

Yeah, I dunno what the fuck there is about him to dislike.

He's bright and articulate, unlike retarded Khan.

He's confident and witty, but not in an obnoxious prick way like Broner.

And he has an exciting style, and can punch.

All that equals a guy to root for.

These motherfuckers are acting like I said Thurman can be as good as Ray Leonard.

I like Thurman, he seems cool and always comes to fight. I'd love to see him knock seven shades of shit out of Broner.

That'd be a mismatch. Broner can't beat ANY top welterweight. Thurman would stretch him easily.

I'd rather see Thurman fight Garcia.

I know it's a mismatch, which is why I'd like to see it, due to Broner being a massive cunt.

I like Thurman too. Confident attitude and has an exciting, fan-friendly style. What's not to like.

Some say he's got a glass chin and when he comes up against a puncher he'll be put to sleep. I can recall in one fight (was it against Soto-Karass?) where he got buzzed, but not to the extent to make me think he's got a glass chin.

Showtime offered Khan's team Devon Alexander or Robert Guerrero. They chose Alexander. So the plan was to make Guerrero-Thurman on the same card but apparently Guerrero declined. Can't fault Thurman for that one.

Based upon what? How good he looked against his toughest opponent of his life, Soto-Karass?

I'll reserve judgement until this guy fights a live body.

In Terms of WHO Wins, WHO Loses, this is an Extremely Intriguing Bout...

BOTH Men Possess Fairly IMPRESSIVE Resumes, Despite the Flack they Catch, Stylistically....Call REED Crazy, but he Thinks this Bout will Be A LOT More Fan Friendly than Anticipated, Also...For Better or Worse, Khan Typically Looks to INITIATE...@ the Same Time, Alexander Typically has a HIGH Work-rate, Especially when Faced w/an Opponent he Feels Even He Can HURT...

Alexander will Take MORE Chances vs. Khan, Based on that Paper Mache' Chin of His...But in Doing So, he'll OPEN Himself to Khan's "Boxbot" Characteristics...A Surprisingly ENTERTAINING Bout will Ensue...

This is Yet ANOTHER Dangerous Fight for Khan, as he Continues to Jump Through Hoops, Looooooooooooonging for a Big Money Bout w/Floyd....It's IMPERATIVE Khan Bring the "Bitch" Out of Alexander in the 1st 3-4 Rounds, as Tim Bradley Did...If Khan Doesn't, REED Sees Alexander STOPPING Khan in the 9th or 10th....

Floyd doesn't have the balls to face Thurman. IMO he is a more dangerous foe to Floyd than Pacquiao.
