What has Maidana done to be considered such a big puncher? I think Judah has more one punch power than Maidana.

Judah clearly has more power than Maidana, it's not even arguable. He also has faster hands and is more accurate.

Judah's pretty creative with his back foot slugging early. Khan's essentially Roach's programmed boxbot, budget model. Jab, jab, jab, hands up move, jab, jab, jab, throw a flurry, hands up move & the chances of a guy like that being drawn onto one of those left uppercuts or short right hooks seems better than most.

You know, I've kept really quiet, but I'd loooov eeeet, joooos looooov eeeet if Judah beat him.

Judah has a better chance than most that is for sure. Especially considering Judah is WAY faster and hits harder than Prescott. It's not like Khan can't be caught.

Judah was shot years and years ago. He hasn't been relevent for about six years. He has a punchers chance and that is it, and only because Khan has a crap chin.

Exactly right. The funny thing is, I actually think Khan is a more effective fighter than DeGale shall ever be, even though DeGale is the more natural fighter of the two.

Very fast hands, and straight, rangey punches go a fucking long way it seems, even if you're as basic and pre-programmed as Khan is.

C'mon, the guy does hit hard.
I'm not saying judah doesn't hit hard, he showed vs mabuza that he still does have the one punch timing to really hurt a guy, so i'm definitely not underestimating or ruling out his punching ability.

    Good fight.

Tough one to call here as I agree that Zab can one shot him as he suckers him in, but Khan's youth may prevail, but we will have to see how he fights a southpaw.

Khan's left will factor in this big, and I hope he does not just come out chucking rights as he will surely be clocked in a big way.

I'd pick Maidana to beat Judah if they fought. It's just that Judah has certain attributes that I believe will cause Khan some problems, but only early on. I'm not trying to discredit Maidana, I'm a fan of his for sure and he's obviously is a good puncher, he's got like 27 KO's for 30 wins.

Judah's chances seriously diminish as the fight goes on. If it goes past round 5, Zab is probably getting stopped late.

As I said before, stylistically, Judah is a tougher proposition for King Khan than Maidana. Judah early on will pose problems definitely, but referring back to the Judah - Mabuza fight, Judah was tagged a fair bit against a guy who does not have fantastic hand speed. Now pit somebody, aka King Khan, against Judah, there's a problem. I do feel tho that Judah will be difficult to catch clean early, but eventually King Khan will succeed.

A younger, fresher Judah would be a different kettle of fish altogether.

Shake, Maidana would beat Judah, no doubt about it. Too relentless and tough, just grind him down.

But although he's a decent puncher he doesn't have the one shot power that Judah has.

Judah is CLEARLY the bigger puncher of the 2. In fact I'm surprised Khan is taking this fight.

Probably Zab's last chance at a pay day here if he loses, so if notihng else, he'll give his all.

But with Khan being the younger guy here plus his range, I don't know how the Brooklyn thugsta will deal with that.

I read that two of them are going to play a game of blindfolded chess as way to hype the fight.

I expect Khan to win at this stage but hope Judah knocks him the hell out.

Watching Khan get stretched out by a shot never-was like Judah would be a sweet, sweet moment.

Im actually curious how Khan deals with a southpaw, he's normally SOOO reliant on his jab. That's really the only major change in his game under Roach, he's gone from about a 3rd of his shots being jabs to just over 50% (stats via compubox rather than by rectum on the occasion).

How does that translate to against a lefty i wonder. Every fight has it's interesting element for me these days.

Same old Khan. He probably wanted a percentage of Judahs platinum, if Khan loses.
