You called Ibragimov-Holyfield an even fight and said that Sultan couldn't fight. It wasn't an even fight and as ugly as Sultan's style is, he can fight. :notallthere:

 

Big deal.
Not being able to knock out a washed up former great nearly 20 years your senior in my mind dosen't mean that you can fight.
It means the opposite, he can't fight.

 

Evander himself, couldn't do the same to George Foreman and Larry Holmes, in a similar situation, nearly 20 years ago.

 

Foreman took 10 YEARS OFF and wasn't punched out like Evander is, and Larry took a lot of time off as well and can (still) stink anyone out.
Evander gave both of those guys real beatings, think of Larry throwing up right after the final bell.
This guy didn't give a completely punched out and spent Holyfield anywhere near a beating.

Ibrgaimov fought to win a decision and did so easily. That don;t mean he can;t fight. :bears: for champ Ibragimov.

 

Didn't see it; but Ibragimov IS usually too conservative with his punches....and accounts are he did get rocked by some Holyfield right hands.

Ibragimov has some good skills, but I do believe he should have been able to stop a passive Holyfield.

Holy is Soooo easy to dec, that Ibragimov didn't bother trying to stop him. Easy night at the office, really. Trouble is, Holy needs a brutal beating to quit.

That was bad. Boxing as a whole really needs Wlad to step up and clean this garbage up in the HW division. Its seriously embarassing that someone pathetic as Sultan can clame he is a World title holder in our sport.:doh:

 

Holyfield is a joke
