the card is on at 9:45 PM (I think that is 2:45 where you are, Irish, but I might be off by an hour) Actual fight, probably 11ish
It would be a good time He looks much slower than before and he no longer commands as much snap on his punches... His ability to move his head away from punches is also not what it was Because of Haye's publicity whoring and the fact that people for some reason can't get their heads around his basic shittiness, he could provide Vitali with a nice payday. Other than that, there's no real reason to keep going. He's not getting any younger or better and if he sticks around, some lousy bum (like Haye) that he would have battered a few years ago will wind up beating him
it doesn't matter in terms of the outcome, but I bet it matters to the poor suckers who paid for that crap
Agreed. Crap comp or not, he's been holding up remarklably well for his age, he's still looked pretty sharp and robust etc, and not too slow. But damn, he looked downright slow and old tonight, he really should retire now.
The power is 'supposed' to be the last thing to go, but with Vitali it seems to have begun leaving a while ago and its drop has continued. I don't like guys to retire with a belt. Now Vitali is finally beatable. Let's see him go out with a loss. This situation is somewhat different than normal, though. There isn't a true heir apparent out there and certainly no one calling him (or his brother) out. I'd still rather see him continue, though.
Yep. Sometimes fighters carry their power strangely late, like Foremens, but I think just as often it can be one of the first things to go, which I think is the case with Vitali. As with all attributes, it's just random.
I think it depends on how the fighter creates his power. Guys whose power comes from speed (such as Jones) lose their power as the speed reduces, and even though Vitali never was actually quick, his arm-punches became less effective as he lost his snap. Also timing was an important part of his left hand, now he is a tad late with it and it doesn't stop his opponents the way it used to
Separate the dancer from the dance. I can have the sperm count of a champion but if my weener gets chopped off, well, whose counting, right? In the meantime, here is Bitter Dwyer.<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_qagmXDdWuU?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Good theory. Hard to prove and I am guessing that fighters change the way they create power throughout their career as different physical tools change, but still it could explain why some follow the rule, but many don't.
Its been a decent half-year or so for the heavies. Some good fights. Good activity. Wlad vs Mormeck, Thompson, next fight scheduled for November Vitali vs Chisora, Charr. Chisora vs Haye Chisora vs Helenius David Price in the UK vs Sam Sexton and John McDermott, he should dispose of Fraudley pretty soon, once and for all. Adamek vs Walker, Chambers. Walker fight was a war. Povetkin vs Huck
