No. But plaster, tape or the absence of padding does generate power by way of heavy-handedness (pgm = heavy hands). Throw in a well executed power delivery system (pds) and you've got serious power.

when I work the equation, I keep coming to the conclusion that Joey Archer is the hardest puncher ever

Julio Cesar Chavez. There was an article about fighting him...like 'what's it like to get your ass kicked by Chavez'...guys like Jakubowski and others....the general sentiment was that he didn't punch hard, but that the punches just kept coming

Vitali, otoh, now is a good example, but he used to be a very big puncher.

But he does actually punch hard.

David Haye is a renowned KO artist who doesn't punch half as hard as Vitali.

    See my point?

Haye's a bigger one punch hitter than Vitali, IMO

Well I was going to say Vitali, but he's already been done. So I thought I'd mention Joe as before the hand troubles took over he was stopping guys who noted punchers like Benn couldn't. He's never been a "boom" puncher though, more of a "thwack" puncher.

Agreed that Haye has better one shot power than Vitali too.

If Calzaghe could hit, he would have gotten chinless Charles Brewer out of there

Haye fits this bill. Fits it to a tee. He couldn't really win a fight in 1st or 2nd gear, it was really shit or burst as far as he was concerned, and even in the Valuev fight, he did fuck all and came out of it with his power ranking enhanced.

He didn't come out of it with it enhanced, just not diminished since Valuev is a yeti with Homer Simpson syndrome.

Yeah, at least he didn't try to ban anyone. He shows a solid chin. I deem him the Chuvalo of Fightbeat.

I, on the other hand, with my slender hands and bigger-than-expected sideburns...am the Paulie Malignaggi of these forums.

You have no chin. You fall to pieces when criticized or attacked.

Btw....I'd fuck the shit out of Sarah Palin. What What?????

I've never known Irish to get pissy at criticism....just when he's banned or has his posts/profile fucked with.
