Tough fight. Darius had a solid chin but never fought such a devastating and accurate puncher like Kovalev. He was faster than Kov, but not enough to get out of harm's way. I think he gets stopped in the late rounds on a somewhat competitive, bloody fight.
Say what? Kov has qucker hands, and more fluidity than DM had. DM did have quick feet though coming forward, and closed distance pretty well. But he wasn't that hard to find with right hands, which is why Kov's the favorite here. The wildcard would be, how does Kov handle DM's power?
Agreed, I don't know wtf people are watching. Dariusz was a pretty slow fighter. He was OK on his feet as you say, but had fairly slow hands. Kovalev is clearly the quicker fighter.
That's what I meant. He was faster than Kov but not enough to get out of harm's way. I failed to mention his foot speed because I thought it was clear what I was referring to.
I think Kovalev would've handled his power very well. It's not like he's easy to tag and DM didn't had devastating power.
