Funny that you say that since you were the one that answered my opinion with a personal attack.

    Ok, fair.

But I simply said I didn't agree and listed why I didn't agree - and then listed counter-arguments to your points.

I never ONCE pulled a card like "hey, I got Mayweather-DLH, Vazquez-Marquez II, Pavlik-Taylor, Mijares-Arce, and Williams-Margarito right; so you don't know what you're talking about and you have to believe what I say."

I was just answering your points....with conviction, of course.

I did say "are you kidding me?", and if that came across as arrogant, I apologize - but I still seriously don't understand how you can say this would be a war, so I was honestly surprised.

And I've answered every single point why with an overabundance of evidence.

And now alot of others have come on echoing the same thing.

Anyway, it was a very interesting discussion.

    Peace.

Kessler was able to land on Calzaghe - the epitome of an unorthodox, disruptive, irregular, very skilled, FAST fighter - repeatedly with both leads but ESPECIALLY counters - short punches, long shots, uppercuts - including clearly taking the final round.

Now remember - Lacy is shorter, slower, does NOT have a Calzaghe jab, plods forward, wings wide punches, doesn't have Calzaghe's movement or footwork, and is very easy to time, and has little versatility.

How does this translate to a "war" or some kind of really competitive fight?

Kessler showed himself to be more explosive and varied than almost anyone gave him credit for.

It only becomes a war if Lacy can take ADVANTAGE of Kessler's methodical approach and deal with all his tools.

    I don't think he can.

It would be a slightly more competitive version of Kessler-Andrade.

Hey, it may happen and we'll see.

    PEace.

    I agree.
Jeff would need a couple of tune ups first, though.

Lacy would kill the guy, db.
Andrade is the slowest and most methodical, preditcable fighter I have seen in years.
Andrade is super tough however, but I think Jeff bombs him out.

You think Lacy has speed and power advantages over Kessler, and that Mikkel would simply stand in front of him and trade?

    Jesus, Karl.

Ok...all my points are made and I won't restate.

Guess it will be interesting if it ever happens.

    Peace.

Do me a favor, db: don't say I said something I didn't say, ok?
I agree will be interesting if it comes about, but it won't be a walk in the park for Kessler, regardless of the outcome.

Karl, cut out the attitude...don't need it.

    You said "I AGREE."

Bro - did you READ the post you agreed to?

    Maybe not.

    Read it again.

Thats what im saying. Let Jeff get his shoulder better and give him some tune ups to get some confidence and he gives Kessler all he can handle.
