I just thought using the complexion of Wladimir, who does charity work for African children, and the rest of the 'soviet antagonists' like Oleg Maskaev (American citizen), and American-based Ibragimov, to form an analogy that links 'them' to racism against black people in the early 1900's, is quite a 'nice' touch,..it's American journalism at it's finest I guess, what a battle-cry, the moral of this story is to hope for a 'race' to prevail once again, this isn't an oppurtunity to dennounce the behaviour of that particular time in American history but rather a chance to resserect it with a 'favourable and reformed twist',...then he further compartmentalizes these four individual athletes, as white mannequins with red-commy-nippy-muslim-araby flags garroted around thier necks to help appeal some of the flag-waving imperialist boxing fans to rally behind Lamon Brewster, who this author calls, 'Jim Jeffries' ----the puppet of racist fulfillment? :dunno: ,..fucked if I know??... :stir: but I'm quite sure of one thing,..I bet that Author, .........is a white-american :stir: .

Yeah but there are no dominant champs out there who have not shown weakness. Vlad is emerging he might be the one but lets face it people are still ambivalent about him.

It is a valid point to say that a lot of these guys have been knocked around... none of them are clear chaps to the throne except maybe Vlad.

I don't care I always look at the post, never the person. I also have defended IandI regularly from time to time cause I thought he was right. e may be trolling but his point IMO is valid.

Regarding London: he was a strange and brilliant guy. Nobody could truly say they knew him:lol:. He wrote socialist novels and then made commetns like he did about Johnson:dunno:

    Hanzy cleared that up...

It is a valid point to say that the titles these guys carry are dubious. Vlad might prove to be the exception to that rule but he needs a foil at the very least to test his mettle on and not fold.

I'm a so called White European, but I hope Brewster goes in there and rips the title straight from Wladimir. It doesn't make a difference what race or nationality you are, what matters is the fight.

Me too! I am not even going to make a prediction for this one. I don't need the satisfaction of knowing that a pick for Vlad, probably by early KO is the smart and sensible choice... I would prefer to hope that Brewster finds a way to show another flash of the punching ability he has shown occasionally.

Brewster has to learn to box one of these days so he does not lose mediocre decisions to the likes of Olag, Krasni, etc but in the meantime if he could drop the german robot again that would be grand!
