    Emile Griffith fought maybe the most difficult collective opposition of anybody ever and was a contender even when he was miles past his prime... today he lives in a one bedroom apartment, is flat broke, and is suffering from dementia

    Initially reacting to the stoppage I was both surprised and disgusted, but also looking back on it can admit it was the right call, despite being so very very late.
    If he had been allowed to carry on for those last couple of seconds Taylor would have been awarded a SD victory, but also Chavez could have landed one lethal blow and truly turned Taylor into a vegetable.
