Weak weak comeback. Shamrock isn't a striker. He also sucks. LL is much more dangerous then Shamrock. Damn the UFC hype machine got you real good. Word of advice. Next time Joe Rogan or Mike Goldberg speak turn the volume down. Its messing with your brain.

You really have got to try better with these comebacks. A guy whos been boxing all of his life doesn't forget how to fight.

Indeed, I've been training for an experienced former pro who hasn't boxed in over a decade. He is significantly better than real novice pros I have sparred with.

No! No! No! This is a PRIME Popeye (after he eats a can of Spinach and until the Spinach wears off...which, according to some, still amounts to a longer prime than Mike Tyson apparently had).

Also, Popeye without Spinach is still a better fighter than Bluto...the difference being that Bluto cheats and Popeye tries to fight fair.

mIKE, why did you give the Shamrock example when trying to prove Tito's ability to handle a striker?
Shamrock is NOT a striker, he has no boxing or striking skills worth a sh*t, he's short and musclebound with no speed and striking is not his game. You should've stuck with the Liddell proof as to how bad Tito's striking game is.

exactly! You get my point! I doubt the little twerp could last 30 seconds in a ring with Ivan Calderon. Yet he ruled the east end. And bear in mind this is fucking GLASGOW we're talking about here...and he rarely used guns either. Brutality and the element of surprise wins on the streets.

This thread is no better than the one on Sherdog. Most of you sound ridiculous.

Because it had nothing to do with that. I was talking about him not being afraid of getting hit.
I wasn't clear. I'm talking about when Shamrock was threatening him on ult fighter.
    .
To be clearer on the point, if you aren't afraid of a guy who can put you away with one punch (Shamrock or any pro fighter (mma) over 200 lbs without gloves) AND hurt you in other ways, you aren't going to be afraid of a pro boxer regardless of how hard he can hit or how big he is when all he can do is punch and nothing else.

Gee, you are so wise. No sense in debating it. Hell, no sense in debating anything because NO ONE KNOWS for sure.

The 10.5/10 'bullshit' was exactly what it looks like...a claim that today's version of Lennox would have very little chance in a fight against today's version of Tito.

If you disagree, yee haw, but your 'no one KNOWS' crap is about as insightful as dogshit in Siberia.

If you have some real insight, let's hear it.

If Tito was walking around with his nose in the air acting like he was all that and expecting people to fear and respect him, and this gigantic dread-haired motherf*cker walked over to him and Tito got the feeling "Hey, this dude isn't backing down from me!", do you think Tito will suddenly think to himself "Ok, I'll take him down and put him in a chokehold and he'll respect me", despite knowing that not only does this big guy looking down on him have a history of knocking people the hell out but is not afraid of Tito whatsoever, not to mention that the big man was a world class puncher/striker and the fight is unsanctioned and is occuring outside of Tito's environment, void of mma rules with no matting, fence, gloves, rings or ropes?
I think the situation is not quite as cut and dry as you make it out to be, mIKe.
There's a psychological factor involved which nobody addresses. Nobody in their right mind just instigates a confrontation against another fighter outside of their environment unless they're either drugged or drunk.

I haven't read the sherdog thread and don't plan to so if there are additional details there, I don't know them.

In this thread, Lennox 'slapped' Tito and Tito didn't respond. My main point is that thinking Tito didn't respond because he was afraid of Lennox is very unlikely.

All kinds of other factors could possibly change my conclusion. I'll wait for more details instead of playing 'what if', not because it isn't productive, but because I don't have time and I don't think it would be productive in this thread.
