Yeah, I've seen it plenty of times. He was stopped on his feet. He was still stopped. He couldn't defend himself against Lewis' right hand. End of story.
I hate Lewis, and I'm sure you know that, but Lewis just bashed Bowe up and stopped him, bowe was stumbling about all over the place. Like steve dave just said, bowe didn't complain.
It never helps a resume when you struggle with opponents that aren't considered to be on your level, but it's a different with the two beause Holyfield's "greatness" at heavyweight is really only established by his wins over Tyson, because he didn't do it against Bowe, Lewis or Moorer. He doesn't have "scoreboard" over three of his best opponents...that hurts him significantly in any all-time discussion as a heavyweight. His all-time ranking as a fighter, though, is enhance by the fact that he didn't start as a heavyweight (though you can make the case whether he was ever a "natural" heavyweight, or a "manufactured" one like Czyz claimed).
Holyfield did'nt whip Bowe he won a very very close fight in their second fight did you actually see the fight ?.
Well, majority decision is just judge-speak for "whooped". The fight could've been scored a draw or even a narrow victory for Bowe. It was razor thin.
Correct i dont thinkl Esk saw the fight. He probably boxrecced the decision and tried to pretend he saw the fight.
I learned on other boxing sites not to argue with Lok when it came to Lennox, now it appears the same can be said about esk59. Give it up boys, you can't change a hater's opinion. Give it up or this thread will break records for how many pages it'll span.
lb 4 lb, come on baby.. we go way back.. I think you know me to be a VERY un-biased poster, I do not have "Blind hate" towards any fighter
