Loma may need to think again about feeling sorry for his opponent and letting him off the hook. Could backfire another time and get KO'd.

Speaking of 135 pounder. There's a rumor going around the Tank Davis PPV was a big flop. Showtime executive Espinoza flat out refused to provide the ppv numbers. Not surprised because the PPV business model is like what blockbuster was to Netflix. Out with the old in with the new.

With Fimo going to 140, Loma is now the favorite over any of the lightweights, though Tank has a chance.

Kambosos, Haney and Kingry? Not much of a chance.

Loma would've given that last version of Lopez a pasting, too.

If he maintains the form he's had last couple times out - he looked a little vulnerable even before Teofimo IMO - then he should be solid favourite over all of them and is no less than a top three fighter in the world IMO.

It's very arguable that Loma is a top 3 fighter in the world.

Crawford is a better fighter than Loma, and I have zero hesitation saying that. He doesn't have the flash of Loma, but I trust Bud more execute to and to not choke when it matters.

You see what happens when Crawford gets a guy in trouble versus when Loma does. All that playing around bullshit does nothing for me.

When you get a guy in bad trouble, you close the show.

I don't think Bud is a better fighter than Loma, nor do I think being a more serious finisher makes a fighter better.

Loma is a superior boxer, every bit as versatile and while not as powerful at the higher weight, is every bit as dominant while facing guys far bigger than him. Crawford is only just reaching his natural weight.

Throw him in with someone as good as Lopez who outweighs him by 20lbs and see how well he does. With one arm.

Ohhhh the one arm excuse. lol

Postpone the goddamn fight if you're injured.

Loma has more excuses made for him than any fighter in recent memory.

Or Have a Fucking Rematch Clause, Like EVERY OTHER ELITE LEVEL CHAMPION HAS IN RECENT MEMORY!!!:Dont:

Ol’ George is Typically Pretty OBJECTIVE, But He’s Got an Undeniable Soft Spot for Loma…

Crawford strikes me as a fighter who won't go out with a whimper, even if he does lose. Loma went out with a whimper against Fimo, excuses be damned.

Bud's intangibles make him better than Loma.

Salido loss = His apologists say he was too green, too small. Nevermind the fact that he gave his best performance in his VERY NEXT fight.

Fimo loss = Too small. One arm. Needed a renatch.

    Alright, even with two arms.

Lomachenko and Crawford are close comparisons. The advantages has Loma in skill and speed, Crawford has in power and tenacity. Ultimately though, my point was that Crawford has never even been close to that situation. And will never be the smaller man by that much.

Lomachenko went out without a whimper? Did you miss the second half of the fight? Loma clearly tried to fight his way back into it and while didn't win - I'm not saying for second he has any claim to it - went in trying to bomb Teo in the twelfth. Didn't work out, but it's ridiculous to say he went out without a whimper. Same with Salido. He poured it on looking for a stoppage in the final round.

Russell is not Lomachenko's best performance. Not even close. Maybe his best win, but Lomachenko has clearly improved since 2014.

Being too small for Lopez is an extremely valid excuse, especially when Crawford has been rehydrating to more than 155 since the days he was at 135 and reaches middleweight when he does now. Bud isn't at these disadvantages and never has been. He never will be, either.

To be clear, I dont see a big gap between the two. Yes, they are comparable.

But imo, if they were the same size and fought, its easier for me to envision Bud finding a way to beat Loma than vice versa.

That part is human nature. We're all biased towards and against certain fighters.

I dont take toooooo much exception because George was never part of the dumbass crew saying Loma beats prime versions of Floyd, Whitaker, Duran, and Chavez.

Oh one hundred percent, Loma has no chance of winning vs any of those. Elite FWs would be too much for him, let alone elite LWs.

I can't win, I'm a Loma apologist here, but on ESB I'm a rampant hater :Jest:
