That was a master class... Attacking constantly but never at the neglect of defense... Perfect punch selection and command of distance... He completely negated Russell's speed with superior timing... Brilliant stuff... Cool precision

No doubt. It was a downright amazing performance for a guy with 2 fights. Little Gary didn't even look faster. Chenko is plenty fast, and whatever speed advantage Gary may have had was negated as you said, by superior timing, accuracy, and power of thought.

Chenko is every bit as good as I hoped he would be as a pro, though one thing I am surprised about is his lack of power. He has speed, skill, movement, defense, stamina, and even a decent chin. But his power doesn't look up to much. He should have been able to stop a scrawny little overmatched featherweight like little Gary.

Yeah I was super impressed also at how he completely neutralized the speed of Russell.

He moves a little too much for me at times. When he chose to stand his ground and fire those perfectly timed counters, he made Russell look like a complete amateur. The punch selection too. Amazing stuff.

Why all the hate for Guerrero? Is it because he sacked so bad against PBF?

I don't get it either. I'm surprised Xplosive and several others seem to really hate the guy.

I'm not exactly a big Gurrardo fan, but he's never seemed dislikeable to me.

I'd favor Rigo if they fought eachother RIGHT NOW. Give Loma 5-6 more fights, and I'll probably favor him.

Do you guys think Lomachenko could beat a guy like Donaire in his next fight? Or would he need a few more bouts before taking him on?

Same here. He looks better than Gondo did this early in his pro career.

I'd pick him over Donaire right now.

He'd need a few more fights before fighting a super elite fighter like Gondo. Donaire just isn't that good IMO, unless you have just the right style to play into his hands. He's very limited.

I think Chenko would simply outbox him and outwork him, and reduce him to desperate swings and lunges.

That big eared fucker Donaire is a pretty ordinary fighter if you can negate his big left hook. If Loma can negate it at this stage, he would beat Donaire at this stage. PLUS, Donaire is past his prime.

Donaire is better than the likes of little Gary no question, but as I said he's limited, and I think Chenko's style matches up with him very well. I can imagine Chenko doing a number on him and more or less shutting him down. He's clever and has good defense, and moves constantly. Donaire would suck badly against that style, and become wild and scrubby.

For the sake of the HBO hype machine, I hope Loma beats ten shades of shit outta Donaire. I wanted to throw a bottle at my tv screen in his last fight when they were comparing him to Ray Leonard.

For such a "great" fighter, Donaire has a relatively average ring IQ if you can find a way to negate his power.

Only true because by the time Lomachenko has 6 more fights rigondeaux will be 36 or older

You've relinquished your right to do any mocking or gloating of others TLC. You were confident scrubby little Gary would beat Chenko :laugh11:

He only looks good with the perfect style in front of him. He really does look ordinary if you don't play right into his counterpunching hands. Even against that cagey little flyweight Narvaez he was resorting to wild swings and misses at times. And he looked fucking awful against Gondo when being forced to lead 90% of the time.

Overall he's really not that good, he just looks good at times against the right style. He was being outboxed by Vic in the rematch ffs  If that's not being "pretty ordinary" or being easy to negate, I don't know what is. His power bailed him out, but he looked completely ordinary up to that point.
