He isn't David Tua, he's a very good fighter, but he does struggle a lot if you don't play into his strengths

Rigo was a non-factor after 3 fights. It wasn't until he fought that Kennedy guy from Philly that he started looking elite. And, let's not pretend Rio has an iron chin.

Exactly. He's too limited to be a true elite fighter.

Do you mean "Put the tea on" Kennedy?

And yeah you're right. Even in his 7th pro fight against Cordoba, he looked far from elite.

Now he's proved how good he is, Gondo has grown on me. I like how hilariously deadpan he is, like a Yakuza.

And his performance against Donaire was fucking superb, flawless.

He fought so masterfully, he made Donaire punch himself.

Oh dear you correctly called a prospect vs prospect matchup.

    Better act brazen about it.

The amazing credentials of picking a 1-1 guy over a smaller, younger guy with zero world class experience. You should consider joining a betting poll of Friday Night Fights, your expertise at scouring would surely win you big money!

Just wake me up when "the guy who couldn't even beat a scrubby kickboxer" gets stopped in 2 rounds by Provodnikov

Yeah the gut with no power will get to him for sure.

Rigondeaux himself has a much higher chance at knocking Lomachenko out, he actually has some pop.

You simply have no idea what you're watching. So much so, that when you pick a fight, I genuinely feel more confident about the other guy winning

Kudos to Lomachenko on an IMPRESSIVE Performance...The 1st Half of the Bout was Fairly COMPETITIVE, but Loma ASSERTED his Superiority in the Latter Half & Whipped Russell's Ass...Russell Had NO True Plan or even a Semblance of an Idea of HOW to Attack, & was Relegated to Random, INEFFECTIVE Flurries...

Honestly, Russell Looked like a STRUGGLING Shane Mosley, the Version we Saw vs. Forrest, the Wink, Floyd & Pacquiao...

REED was in the Mood & Actually Jotted Down Notes, Round by Round...

    1. Can Russell Keep Lomachenko HONEST...He Got Loma's Attention w/a Shot & was then FORCED Backwards for the Rest of the Round...

    2. Russell Waiting, Loma Finding Range w/Southpaw Jabs and Right Hooks to the Body...Russell's Few Counters have ZERO Effect Now...

    3. Russell Takes the Initiative...Loma Giving Ground...Russell Feints Jabs to the HEad & Connects to the Body...

    4. Russell Pursuing Lomachenko, Beating him to the Punch and Landing Combo's...

    5. Russell Doing A LOT of Catching this Round...He's Taking the Shots Well Though...

    6. Both Men Seem VERY Aware of Seizing the Momentum, Responding to Any HINTS of Giving it Up...Russell's Turn This Round...

    7. Stream Down (:baa:) Loma PUNISHING Russell Late in the Round, Mostly to the Body, but Some to the Head as Well...

    8. Loma's Round, Clearly...
    9. Russell Starts Aggressively, but Doesn't do Much Beyond that...
    10. Loma Landing MUCH Heavier Shots...Russell's Taking them Admirably, but Doing NATHAN More than Playing Catch @ this Point...

    11. Russell's Brave, but Lomachenko's in FULL Control...
    12. Russell HURT Late...Does Good to Stay on his Feet...DEFEATIST Body Language from Russell...

Lomachenko's a HUGE Featherweight...He Absolutely DWARFED Russell @ the Weigh-In AND in the Ring...

Having Said that, REED Tabs Rigondeaux to Beat Him, if that Bout Happens Anytime in the Next Year or So, as Others have Stated...Loma Would Be MORE Competitive than Donaire was, However...

REED, to be honest I think it's more that little Gary is a tiny featherweight. He looks about fucking 5'3, but scrawny looking, not as beefy as Gondo for example.

I disagree Chenko is a huge featherweight, but certainly big at the weight. 5'7 and pretty well muscled, a similar size to Marquez at feather.

Chenko Vs Gondo is one of the best matchups in boxing, I hope it happens.

Loma look like he has potentials, but I think most of you are overreacting a bit. He looked good against russel, but not that good, he's far from a finished, polished product. He has a lot of improvement to do before I gives him a chance against donaire and Rigondeaux.

He looked ridiculously good and polished for a guy with 2 pro fights. What more could you expect?

Gondo and Donaire are 2 very different things. He might not beat Rigondeaux right now, but I think he'd school Donaire. I'll sigbet you if the fight happens, and anyone else who thinks Donaire would win.

you said it, He looked ridiculously good for a guy with 2 pro fights. There's a huge leap in quality between Donaire and Russell.

Haven't you heard the news? Donaire is apparently mediocre... I know, I was shocked too

He's nowhere near as good as you and Hut think he is. Did you see the Vic rematch? He was being clearly outboxed by Vic. He also couldn't have looked much more outclassed against Gondo.

There is a huge leap in quality between Little Gary and Donaire, but Chenko will beat Donaire if the fight happens. He's simply better, and has a good style to beat him.

You criticize Marquez and his resumé for being overrated, but who the hell has Donaire beaten?

Donaire is far from mediocre, but if you can negate his power he's beatable.

The guy looked spectacular blasting out men MUCH smaller than himself.

Let's be honest here, he's not gonna outbox Loma, ESPECIALLY not now. Like I said, his best days are behind him, and he's not as sharp now as he was a few years ago.

His only chance against Loma is to take him out.

Yep, Donaire has Looked Ordinary @ HIGHER Weights...What Made him SPECIAL was his Ability to Shrink Down to 115 & the 1 Shot POWER he Possesses...

Yup. I've never seen this overall awesome ability in Donaire. I've seen a guy with very fast hands, and a very potent left hook.

Yet these HBO jokers just fuckin compared him to Ray Leonard.......

He's a Decent Counterpuncher Too, but the Problem is, he Tooooo Often Has to TAKE a Shot to LAND his Counter...The Montiel Fight Being a Prime Example...

Fast Hands, Power, Good Chin, SIZE, LENGTH & Decent Counter Punching Ability...That's Nonito Donaire...
