The weird thing is, Chenko's power looked legit in Beijing, especially for amateur boxing, with headgear etc. And since then it's looked decidedly average.

I would have thought he'd be more powerful now, with some extra man strength.

How many guys in the amateurs can really take a shot? It is not exactly a proving ground for people with sturdy chins with the usage of headgear and the fact that power punching is not scored any more than a jab.

What I mean is, his power even looked worse in London, against amateurs again. His punches had less effect and even looked less snappy.

lomachenko is a fantastic fighter. salido is a cheat who needs to fight at lightweight. like jl castillo, he will suck once he starts fighting at his own weight class.

REED Gives Salido Props for OUTSMARTING Top Rank...

He RECOGNIZED they Brought him in to LOSE to Lomachenko, so he PURPOSELY Came in OVER the Weight Limit, Knowing Lomachenko Would STILL Take the Fight Anyways...

Then he BEAT Lomachenko...Salido Will Milk ANOTHER 3-4 Nice Purses Out of This...

salido had the leverage of being the undercard to chavez jr. so if lomachenkos camp told him to fuck off after he missed the weight then he wouldnt face as severe legal ramifications as if it were the main event they wouldve had to cancel and refund peoples money. castillo really got fucked when he missed the weight vs corrales and basically has been broke ever since.

it will be interesting to see how arum/hbo play this. more likely arum will be the one to kill the fight since im not sure hBO gives a fuck about lomachenko after he lost to salido.

lomachenko's ppl seem hellbent on getting another title shot so maybe they'll pressure arum into it.

The BEST Thing Arum Could Do is Allow the Fight to Happen & Hope Lomachenko WINS...

Top Rank & HBO are DECISIVELY Losing the Battle Against Haymon/GBP/Showtime, @ This Point...The Days of PRETENDING the Other Side DOESN'T Exist Are Looooooooooooooooong GONE...Since GBP OUTBID Top Rank Fair & Square for the Rights to the Fight, They're Obviously INTERESTED in it Happening, & Arum Needs to ALLOW the Shit to Happen...Otherwise, Lomachenko Will End Up Being yet ANOTHER Fighter Looking to Jump Ship, the Moment his Contract Expires...

Uncle Bob Needs to SWALLOW his Fucking Pride on This 1...

well it was pointed out to me that the lara-martyrosian fight went to purse bid and ended up happening so hopefully this one will also. obviously it will be on showtime. so if hbo has no contractual stake in lomachenko then there is no reason for arum to prevent it other than old bitter spite
