I go by boxrec on heights and like I said "1 inch but stockier" no way. Leonard was DLH's size more or less and Oscar is and looked much bigger than Floyd. "People who has seen him say he's 5'5" again, just don't buy those arguments. Floyd is a bit bigger but my point is, there's no such size difference between them where you can absolutely trash one for fighting Marquez and then giving props to the other if the fight is made. Yeah JMM arguably beat Manny twice just like Castillo arguably beat Floyd once. That was time ago, they've both grown into different divisions and would whoop those Lightweights now. ::

I don't have a problem if they fight at 140. I'm worried about Freddie Roach deciding Manny can't go below 145 OR above 145.............because he needs to "look out for his guy". :shit:

The listed heights of boxers appear to be all off.

Williams is listed at 6'1 and Margarito at 5'11, but Williams appears more than 2 inches taller.

 

Manny has hardly grown into welterweight ::

He sort of propelled himself up there, and being the freakishly talented monster he is, he is highly effective at the weight.

Ask the guys on here, boxing writers etc that have met Manny, including StingerKarl, ask them how tall he is. At the most, he is nearing 5'6, not 5'6 and a half.

Watch his fights with 5'8 Erik Morales, and tell me there was only a 1.5 inch height difference.

And there is a greater size difference between Manny and Floyd than there is Floyd and Oscar. Oscar hardly dwarfed Floyd.

And you do know most of the listed heights are wrong or exaggerate? Ask someone like Arben, a lot of the time fighters just quote their own heights for the measurements, and whoever takes the stats doesn't argue.

Leonard himself has admitted he is 5'9, and Tyson himself has admitted he is 5'10.

It seems to be the norm to add an inch.

 

The first shot isn't a good example. The second shot is more like the real height difference between the two.

No fucking way there is only a 2 inch height difference.

In fact Erratic, do you remember during the fight, Lampley even said, "That's the biggest 2 inch height difference I've ever seen" ::
