He was hyped after beating Rafael Marquez who was ranked in the top six pound for pound lists.

I would be shocked if Rafa was rated p4p by the time he fought Lopez.

Right, and he was stopped in the last one that mattered and then didn't fight for a while before beating a totally shot Izzy a couple of years later. There's no way anyone had him in the top 6-10?

Sorry, not stopped in the last one that mattered. Just dropped late and lost.

I agree. He looked very SLOW! I have been noticing a decline in Lopez for sometime now. I think he's a shot fighter.

Of those three, Abraham is the least overrated. Alexander is scarily overrated. And Juanma is effectively finished at this stage. Abraham might be limited but he fought better fighters and did better out of it. Abraham is slowly going about lining up a big fight at 160.

Ridiculous. It is not possible to be more overrated than that Bum Abraham. He fought one of the shittiest resumes ever in his title run, losing at least 2 of those fights. I screamed at the beginning of the Super 6 the one guy who had zero chance of winning it was Abraham although the Hoi Polloi penciled him in as one of the favorites. Abraham is barely a world class fighter. I was considered a hating crank because I said this while he was undefeated only Steve and Mexican WEDDING Shirt agreed with my analysis. I said while he was undefeated he is the worst titlist with multiple defenses, ever..12 I think. Amazing how shitty boxing can be a complete and total bum with the right situation can have 12 defenses of a title.

Steve only agreed with your analysis after you googled his name and forced him to sue for peace

Yeah, it wasn't surprising to anyone who was paying attention that AA couldn't even win rounds when he started fighting top notch fighters.

This site is full of people who should be insanely rich betting against all of these grossly overrated boxers who can't fight a lick.

Such a cheap comeback to wise judgement of fighters.

"Oh I suppose you're rich then, bettingz on deez overrated fiters!! lolz!".

Um, how about you don't bet on boxing at all, but are still adept at deciphering overrated chumps like Arabham? Amazing concept isn't it, to think someone could have these opinions of fighters, yet not bet against them?

I'll tell you this much, my buddy is in Vegas for 311 weekend and I gave him $100 to gamble, told him to put it on Salido to win (+165 online) or Salido by KO.... he went to 6 different casinos NONE of them had odds on the fucking fight. And the Knicks are 12-1 to win the NBA championship. twelve to fucking one.... they should be 500-1. fuck vegas odds

Has there ever been a fighter that regressed as fast as Lopez? He has been looking like shit for a few fights now. I have noticed the regression in Lopez since the Mtagwa fight. He has been fighting sloppier ever since and looks TERRIBLE SLOW. His hand speed is gone. I think he's a shot fighter. \

Anyone have a idea as to what happened to him?

Yes, he started fighting better opposition. He's always been slow, basic, and hittable.

Ponce got KO'd before he had a chance to exploit that.

The Ring magazine had him top six. You know, that magazine that calls itself the Bible of boxing and hands out belts? That is why Juanma was placed as #10 in their p4p after beating Marquez who in turn exited their p4p rankings with his defeat.

Round 9 is one of the best rounds i have ever seen.

Garcia looked good on the undercard. He would give Salido all kinds of problems.

Don't know about one of the best I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, it was great. But I like at least one legit, hard knockdown in my all time great rounds. If not that, a Holyfield/Bowe style out on his feet only to turn the tables.
