Maidana isn't even that good. I shutter to think what a REAL beast like Provo would do to Broner.

Agreed. I actually feel bad for overrating Broner, even as a long time Broner detractor.

I said Broner would lose to Garcia, Provo, and Mattysse, but probably beat Maidana. He's not even as good as I thought.

FFH Provo would slap him around like he stole something.

I think Maidana might be better than he was a few years ago.

Particularly when you consider that Hopkins was not having the same sort of "Superstar" backing that AB was.

He may well be. He's definitely looked better since joining Garcia, he looked shit against Alexander.

He's always been awkward, but he looked surprisingly crafty against "Bronner".

    Seriously?

Another crappy point. In his mid-20's Hopkins was fresh out of jail. When he fought Jones the first time he was 28 and Roy was 24. (Hopkins lovers and Jones haters called him "green" at the time). The Allen and Echols fights were during his prime years pre-Trinidad. Broner is what, 22 or 23?

"Like I said before" the SIX fights listed clearly shows a pattern for B-Hop throughout his entire career. I don't know where this revisionist history is coming from.

I don't think he bitched out in either of those fights. So my crappy point stands.

When you watch this...remember the shit Cintron got after the same thing against Paul Williams. Do you believe Mills Lane pushed him hard enough to send Hopkins flying out of the ring? That's a LeBron James type flop.

I don't think he jumped out the ring, no. There's more i could say on it, I think Hopkins is an odd fish, but to keep on topic suffice to say I don't think he bitched out in the same way Broner tried to.

Bottom line...how many fighters have you seen laying on the canvas rolling around from "fouls" this many times in their career? Especially one as notoriously dirty as Hopkins?

"like I said before" Hopkins clearly has shown to do this in the beginning, middle and end of his career.

Watching these in a row is pretty hilarious. Clearly Hopkins has bitch in him...typically occurs when guys get rough with him.

A 48 year old, well ahead on the cards, using theatrics to gain an extra breather is qualitatively different to a 24 year old, getting his ass whupped, trying to QUIT a fight. True whether you accept it or not.

    "Like I said before"

At 24 Hopkins was fresh out of jail...

Loaded made a comment about Broner and Hopkins...go back a few pages.

I replied that Hopkins has shown bitch tendencies throughout his entire career. Thus posting the videos with him laying on the canvas "mortally" wounded.

Never has done imo. He is just cheap little Floyd impersonator with about 0.1% of the talent and skill. He throws accurate punches, everything else about him is average, or subpar - like his workrate.

That's what I don't like about Hopkins is most of the times he's the one starting with the dirty tactics but as soon another fighter does back to him he does whatever it takes to win that Oscar - Academy Award with that acting job.

    BULLSHIT...

After 2 Rounds, Broner was DOWN 3 Points...Nonetheless, the Fight was Arguably EVEN, just Prior to the 2nd Knockdown, which was in Round 8, if REED's Not Mistaken...It's a Fucking LEGITIMATE "Fight of the Year" Candidate, Bro...1-Sided Fights where a Guy is "Dominated" Rarely if EVER Get F.O.Y. Consideration...

While Broner CLEARLY LOST, he Definitely had his Moments...If You HONESTLY Don't Think Broner Clearly Won a SINGLE Round, it's Best You Simply DISREGARD Future Adrien Broner Related Threads, Bro...

BEFORE the Ink Dried on the Contract, Some of Us KNEW Maidana Would Be the BEST Guy Broner had Ever Fought & Would Be a VERY Live Underdog...Dude has like a 90% KO Ratio & has NEVER Been Stopped...To Say he "Isn't Even That Good" is DISingenuous, Brother X...

    Exactly...

You Simply CANNOT Compare Broner & Bernard, Age for Age, Given BHop's Stint in State Prison...The FAIRER Comparison is Career Arc...As You've FULLY Illustrated, Bernard was Pulling Out So-Called "Bitch" Tactics @ a Similar, If Not EARLIER Point in his Career than Broner...

To Be CLEAR, What Broner Attempted WAS NOT Brave or Manly, but when Juxtaposed w/THE WAY he Fought, Under HEAVY Duress, it's a NONfuckingISSUE, in REED's Opinion...Yet it Seems to Be THE ONLY Point Broner HATERS Want to Discuss, Other than the Knockdowns....

Last Night, No...But PRIOR to Last Night, Most Figured Broner for a Flashy, "Finesse" Type of Fighter...If NATHAN Else, Broner Showed he was "MORE than Finesse", Last Night...
