You make good points but since you have a history of being heavily biased towards fighters of Eastern European origin, I take what you say here with a pinch of salt. ;)

I disagree, especially on the "fluid" part. Canelo fights in spurts. On the defensive side he usually covers up and looks to restart the offensive approach when the opponent stops punching. GGG has shown he can stay in the pocket, block or take a shot and continue to move or fire. Even against the smaller Khan he got tagged with shots and just protected himself rather than immediately responding with his own. Alvarez is much more binary.

It's crazy how all these Canelo dick riders are acting like Golovkin might be a front runner, when Canelo is the one who went out like a bitch against Floyd.

Canelo knew very early on that he couldn't beat Floyd. But rather than at least go balls to the wall, he fought like a tepid faggot and was content on getting schooled.

But Golovkin's heart is in question, right?

    LOL.

Blah, blah, blah, if he's such a bum beater and so beatable, then why won't Oscar and Carrot Top man up and fight him?

Who's next for Canelo? Probably Tim Bradley.

Exactly. Even sloppy ass Kirkland was able to push Canelo back, make him cover up and land punches. When Canelo goes defensive his upper body movement is so awkward and labored it looks like he has back problems.

GGG can stuff the jab and make Canelo pick up his feet and walk into punches, he can drop long and short combos with power when Canelo squares up, and when he pushes Canelo back its a done deal.

This is the same as a year ago. When Canelo destroyed bum ass Kirkland, we also saw all this hype of him possibly beating Golov.

Then he fights Cotto, and although he wins 8-4, he HARDLY looks like a killer and he never seriously hurts Cotto. And this is Miguel Cotto we're talking about - not exactly Chavez like in the chin department.

But he KOs Amir Khan and ONCE AGAIN it's "Ohhh damn! Maybe he has a chance..."

    Based on WHAT????

    Golov will dismantle this Ginger.

Maybe these emotional swings happen in your head but I would take Canelo over GGG before or after any of their fights over the last 3 years.

    Wrong you are, sir.

I didn't watch Golovkin-Monroe NOR Golovkin-Wade live. Didn't care to. Watched both fights on replay, only because well.... I'm fanatical about this sport and enjoy watching fights.

I have no interest in seeing Golov fighting any middleweight that's not Canelo.

I don't think much of Lemeiux but he probably KO's all those guys. I'd take Murray, Stevenson and Monroe Jr. over Kirkland, Mosley, Lopez, Angulo and probably Cintron.

no shocker that the 3 most legit opponents alvarez faced were also the 3 he looked the worst against. lara, cotto and trout.

now kirkland is a great win. a guy who hadnt fought in how long? he had a worse layoff than khan, who was approaching a year himself

In Ginger's defense, I highly doubt ANY version of Kirkland beats Canelo.

But if it was the Kirkland who beat Angulo, it woulda been a tougher fight for Canelo and lasted longer.

He still woulda stopped Kirkland eventually though. Kirkland would still be too hittable and too fragile and Canelo too sharp a counter puncher.

Lemieiux was stopped by M.A. Rubio who also fought GGG.

Could this be Borat's toughest opponent to date?

While GGG remains unproven, Canelo is proven to be a bit underwhelming.

GGG beats Canelo, and Ward beats GGG IMO.

Where's the link to Kirkland getting blasted by a jap journeyman with no power in one round? Or Lara getting smacked around by slow ass Angulo?
