IIRC Chavez was catching an unholy asswhipping from start to finish, if he won a couple of rounds they must have been rounds Floyd took off.
Sure he ended up getting a beating, but he actually didn't do that badly, I mean he probably had more success than anyone else at 130 to 135 apart from Castillo obviously. It was just basic pressure, but it netted him a couple of rounds and made Floyd work for rounds too. Chavez was one of the fights that made me think Hatton (or any good pressure fighter) would have success against Floyd.
