I didn't get that impression. Matthyse's eye was swelling badly, no doubt..but he was still kicking the shit out of Harris for the most part. He gave dude a pretty good beating in round three, and it only seemed like a matter of time before Viv would be stopped, legitimately, before the premature stoppage.

 

In my opinion, Harris looked so bad in that fight, even if he won......somehow...Floyd could never have taken that fight. Never. I mean Harris looked like a 4 round novice that night. Slow, pushing his shots...terrible.

 

No doubt Viv was getting worked at the end, though his jabs caused that swelling quick. He isn't close to being a contender anymore, but this is the second fight in a row he gets by without a real ending and one more loss like Maussa/Witter and nobody will have to see him again. I think the fight should have gone on. And that ref isnt worthy of being a ref.

 

Well Shin Finn,.. with the right 'conditioning coach' and all that raffle basket of fruit and soap associated, we may well have one of Alistair Crawley's finest overnight dabbles.
